Decent motel

The room I occupied had been extensively restored and brought up to modern standards. The interior was very clean and adequately furnished with necessary items, not cluttered with other "stuff." My room was located at the very front, only about 25 feet off the main highway so there was quite a bit of road traffic noise. I'm sure rooms further back would not have that issue. Breakfast was not included, but there was a machine that made very good coffee and bottled water was available. I would not hesitate to stay here again, but would request a room further from the highway,

Nice and clean. Low prices. Exceptional service! Very clean, small yet cozy rooms. Exceptionally priced. Really exceptional customer service. I forgot my wedding and engagement ring in the room and the young gentleman up front was so quick to call so I could swing back by to pick them up. Will definately stay here again if travel brings me through town.

This motel is a budget hotel with little extras. I would rate the room on power with a Red Roof Inn. Be aware it is located near train tracks, but I did not find that an issue. The outside area is very rough looking and in need of a fresh coat of paint, but tidy looking. The rooms still use the old fashion key to unlock. Our room #105 was as pictured with the 2 queen beds at a 90 angle. It was very spacious and clean. It had a very clean smell. The mattress was memory foam, and I found it very comfortable. I liked having a chair with ottoman in the room for watching TV. Pleasantly surprised to find it had cable tv. Small clean, tidy bathroom with very small bath towels and toiletries. The room contains microwave and small refrigerator with freezer. Very pleased with the room overall and would stay again considering the price and amenities were significantly lower than others in the area. Front desk staff was very friendly and surprised to find coffee and tea maker in lobby.

Its an old property without much going for it other than price and the fact that the owners seem to be doing the best they can with what they have. The result was that I got what I needed (a good night's sleep and a shower in the morning) without breaking the bank.

Clean and comfortable - matches the price paid. There was no recycling. The switch for the bathroom fan was broken.
