OYO 蘭伯頓14號公路酒店(OYO Hotel Lamberton Hwy 14)

This is a road side hotel/motel its right off the highway in a very small town! It was very outdated, and decor was not matching, I think a man decorated and painted it LOL, Nothing matches anything lol, but my room was clean! Im not a picky person just needed a bed to sleep in for a night. The guy was very helpful and friendly when I checked in. I am a midnight person, so I decided i wanted some microwave popcorn at midnight, the microwave either ran to hot or i bought bad popcorn. But in less then 2 minutes it burnt really bad, I set off the smoke alarms....lol and the room smelt really bad even in the morning when I left. I'm sure I woke my neighbors, so I apologize for that. If you just need a place to sleep its fine and not gonna cost an arm an leg! I would stay again.

Convenient to the attractions around the area and property located in a rural town.

Next door neighbors had hunting dogs that barked and howled a lot. They had left them alone in the room when they went out.

Small local hotel near the Laura Ingalls Wilder sites. Very clean. Beds seemed firm at first but were actually comfy. It is a older property so some wear and tear was expected. Great parking. Saw a raccoon pass by in the treed area out front early one morning so it is def a rural spot. Breakfast options were all packaged foods except for bananas.

The door lock was broken (non existent) so we couldn’t lock the door at bedtime from the inside. We stacked a chair and dresser in front of the door for our safety. Front desk admitted it was broken and said someone “might” fix it this week. Very negligent

The property was fine for what you pay. It just wasn’t great. One example was that there weren’t cups for coffee at breakfast,

- perfect place to crash after long day of driving - Great farming town, friendly people - Got my run in and had a delightful time running through the town - Super kind and friendly management - Very comfortable beds - Bathroom and air conditioner housing unit could use some upgrading, visually, but they worked! - It was a steal at $45/night - Dog-friendly, too! - Continental breakfast was just enough to get us on the road (doughnuts, coffee, I hot cider, cold cereal and milk, instant oatmeal)

The staff was very nice and helpful, they recommended places to eat close by. The room was very clean and more than met our basic needs! One of the staff members was power washing the building and screens on the windows. Very impressed with how well maintained this older motel was! Very close to Walnut Grove and Jeffers Petroglyphs!

We loved it. It was exactly what we needed and what we expected. This was a super fun mid-century motel to stay in. It reminded us of a couple of really funny, successful comedy series and of trips we took as children with our families. They do need to make some minor improvements, like boxing in the AC in the room so the insides off the wall around the AC aren’t exposed. But really, we have no other complaints, and that issue didn’t bother us at all.
