穆勒康德格林酒店(The Mill at Conder Green)

Room was dirty, dead spiders in window area and dirty wooden floor with bits of mop, flower petals. Chair in room had a large stain on seat. Bed was king size and high but moved on castors when you got in. As the bed had moved you could see the floor was dirty. For £110 a night you expect a clean room, reception gave me a £30 refund but didn't really understand why I was annoyed with a unclean room. Made a sarcastic comment when I showed them the photos of the room. It's a basic that you should not need to ask for! Shame as the hotel is in a beautiful location but the canal outside looked cleaner!

This was a great place to stay, on the outskirts of Lancaster. The room was spacious, warm and inviting. Breakfast was fabulous in a gorgeous restaurant overlooking the canal.

Great staff. Food good. A couple of issues fixed very quickly. The second room we had was good value and appropriately priced. The first was not.

Comfortable and well equipped room .Hotel close to interesting countryside and small port and marina. Lots of wildlife around...we even saw a Snowy Owl flying around the area!

3rd stay at the Mill. Exceptional food, service and the most fabulously appointed room overlooking the canal.

A lucky find after our original booking elsewhere was cancelled. The Mill is situated in a very quiet and picturesque area. On arrival we were politely and efficiently checked in. The room was spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Outside is a large seated area and a lovely walk alongside the canal, whilst walking before our evening meal, we spotted numerous birds and animals. We booked an evening meal in the hotel, the food was of reasonable quality and good value, as was the white wine which accompanied it. The room and hotel was quiet in the evening, although it was quite stuffy and warm, with a view onto a flat roof! A decent breakfast in the morning and a nice easy check out, with the same very polite and personable member of staff on the desk. Would return if in the area again.

Really good experience and excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to other people.

Overall stay ok but unfortunately toilet flush was broken so had to remove lid of cistern & flush manually by hand after use of toilet. Could maybe do with grab rail of sorts to enable older people to get into bath for over bath shower.
