Wunderschöne Oase am Rande des Weingebiets. Tolle historische Architektur trifft auf moderne Ausstattung. Das Personal war super, das Restaurant überragend. Hier hat einfach alles gepasst. Der Pool und das Sonnendeck laden zum chillen ein, einfach ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen.

Lugar encantador, estilo holandês, com visão cênica das montanhas (fica em região de olivícolas). Perfeito para relax. Quarto limpo, moderno, minimalista, com pegada tecnológica para comandos de voz em funcionalidades automáticas. Diferencial: jacuzzi privativa com temperatura ideal, mesmo oscilando externamente entre 15°C noite e 10°C ao nascer do sol. Equipe amigável, calorosa e prestativa. Vá e sinta a energia acolhedora do Lab. Ficou a vontade de conhecer em Franschhoek e Cape Town.

Staf is super vriendelijk. Top origineel concept. Uitstekende prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. Restaurant: de bediening was erg professioneel en wat op ons bord kwam was niet enkel mooi gepresenteerd de bereidingen zaten helemaal juist vergezeld van lekker lokale wijnen maakt alles af. Merci, wij hebben er van genoten.

We booked into theLab and Terence was exceptional in greeting us. A great plus, they had an electric vehicle charger so I could charge my car overnight. Our room was amazing and the dinner that evening was sublime - one of the best meals we've had in ages, and served with style, AND a really great local bottle of wine

The Lab is an amazing place to stay with the friendliest most professional staff. Deven, Ruzaan and Israel to name a few but they were all great (we just dealt mostly with them). The hot tub awesome on chilly days, the food excellent! (Very very yummy). Thank you - we have loved it. Will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at The LABHotel. The facilities are gorgeous and it is good value for money. The views are lovely and the staff are ultra friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very tasty, though the Mimomsas were too sweet (suggest not adding that red syrup).

Room very small - entrance door handle very close to frame - knuckle buster. Bathroom door could not close - warped. No opening windows available. Great shower. Fridge next to bed , noises and not in the correct place. Rooms lack sound proofing.

I was able to spend wonderful five days in Thelab. Everything was clean, good service, very nice facilities, fine food. I would recommend this place any time. There is hardly anything to complain about. If I had any minor suggestions for improvement, they would be the following: the refrigerator in the room often makes noise at night. The loungers on the terrace need to be replaced (wheels blocked, cushions torn) and some nails are sticking out of one wooden chair. But it's definitely worth coming here if you want to experience some silence and good service.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at this lovely boutique hotel. Excellent service, tasteful accommodation, and the dinner we had on Friday was sublime. Highly recommended.

Arrived on Saturday just after lunch time and checked in. Room overlooking the dam was extremely well equipped. Automatic coffee machine etc. We then drove down to the R317 where there are lots of wine farms and had an outside lunch at Bon Courage. Back to The LAB to rest and then a Magnificent Dinner. Best fillet steak I've had in a long time. Breakfast the next morning was just as good and I would certainly stay there again.

We had such a lovely stay at The Lab. The room was spacious and beautifully set up, and we really enjoyed playing around with the Echo. The bed was incredibly comfortable – honestly the best night’s sleep we’ve had in ages – and the jacuzzi was just what we needed to relax after a busy day driving around Robertson. Waking up to that mountain view right from our bed was something special. The fresh air, the peace and quiet, and the smell of the fynbos made it feel like a proper escape. The staff were brilliant – professional but also super friendly, which made us feel right at home. We had dinner there one evening and it was fantastic, definitely one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. And if you go, you have to try the Lavender Martini – it’s a winner! Can’t recommend The Lab enough – we’ll definitely be back.

We've stayed with Thelab Franschhoek on many occasions and I have always wondered what lies behind the Klaasvoogds turnoff outside Robertson (seeing as there are 2 of them - East and West). We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and idyllic setting and the staff were all top notch. PS, great cycling too. We'll be back!
