拉波特舒適酒店(Comfort Inn la Porte)

When we first entered the hotel it smelled and looked clean and we thought we had made a good choice for a place to stay. We were in town to meet with family for a Christmas get-together, so we asked them to meet us at our hotel before going out to eat. Shortly after our family of five adults and one child arrived at our room the manager came up, knocked on our door and told us that we were not supposed to have guests in our room because the hotel only had a fire rating for a certain number of people. There were hardly any cars in the parking lot so having too many people in the hotel could not be the reason. We were in an executive suite that had a table that sat six people, so the room was planned to be large enough for that number of people. We felt targeted by him for some reason, which made us very uncomfortable. I am not sure if we will try to stay here again in the future because of this.

Comfortable beds.Solid breakfast choices. Clean rooms. We’d stay again!

The staff were nice & helpful. The room was clean & everything seemed very up-to-date. Plenty of food options just down the road.

Staff was very nice. The outside and lobby area was clean. Hallway going to the room could use some attention but the room was clean and well kept.

Typical Comfort Inn, nice staff. Room was clean….cigarette burn in one of the comforters. The pillows were lumpy, bring your own. Noise and smells from the hallway like there is no door. So bring ear plugs. Also smelled strong smoke and pot one night-don’t know where it was coming from and our room was very close to the lobby. Small, clean pool. Decent regular hotel hot/cold breakfast.

Bathrooms need an upgrade...loose floor grout, tub and shower yellow and dated with missing caulking and loose shower head. Bathroom door needed adjustment to the striker plate...door would not stay closed. I would stay at the Holiday Inn accross the street if we go back...worth the extra few bucks. Staff were nice though.

The hotel was clean, the start were friendly and readily available. I can see why this hotel is so highly ranked. My only drawback was that the mattress was extra firm, and I prefer a medium to firm mattress. The breakfast was excellent and had a lot of both hot and cold choices. Overall I give this location a 9.5

Had to check out early but staff refused to issue refund to us directly at the property or thru *******. Just be sure you are going to stay for the whole reservation.
