Excellent service from all staff including check in and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble

This hotel is situated in a good location for exploring Edinburgh. We were able to get the train into the city at a nearby park and ride. Premier inn is always a safe option (especially when travelling as a family) as you know exactly what you are going to get! Same applied to this trip, it was perfect for our needs. Ample parking, spacious family room, with comfortable beds, unlimited tea (refills at reception) and all you can eat breakfast to set you up for the day! The service at breakfast was great, staff very friendly! One morning our little girl had a smiley face drawn on her boiled egg- which she loved. The food at breakfast was super tasty with lots of options. Even better that kids eat free with paying adults! On a whole the hotel was clean and tidy, warm and welcoming. The colouring sheets and crayons in reception were also lovely! A great stay!

I arrived at 14.30 hrs and was informed that if I wanted into my room then it would cost me an extra £10.00p. Not wanting to pay I went into the restaurant next door.....Part of Premier Inn.. for a coffee.....I waited to be Seated....and waited...and waited...eventually a man from behind the bar shouted over...."She will be there in a minute"........a long minute...eventually he came over and gave me a seat......the coffee was disgusting....I attempted to pay cash.....they asked me for ID incase the money was forged....I did not give them ID and the manageress came out and I got what for.....very abusive between her and the two on the desk.....terrible treatment....I do not recommend anyone to book in their...

Great room for families, very spacious and comfortable. Hotel room was very clean and had everything we needed! The restaurant was really nice and great value for money. Breakfast was a really good selection and service was brilliant considering the lack of staff.
