市集酒店(Hotel am Markt Bacharach)

Couldn’t ask for a better location in Bacharach! The hotel is charming and well maintained. Our room was lovely, especially loved the bathtub with the chandelier! The only downside of the room was the toilet was separated from the shower and sink, which would be fine except it was such a small space the door barely cleared the toilet seat 😬 and with the door closed it was pretty claustrophobic. The gentleman at the front desk was very soft spoken, so sometimes hard to understand what he was saying.

I booked a room during month of June. The temperature was very hot. The room was advertiste as a "wellness suite". This is what we got: Noisy room: you hear people eating, drinking, and talking till 22:00 hrs. Then, when restaurant closes the owner and his friends gather outside to smoke and talk loudly til past 24:00!!! To silense the outside noise, we closed all windows and turned on air conditioner except it DOES NOT work!!! Next morning, I asked the manager/owner to please turn it on ALL night as it will not work unless the manager turns it on remotely!!! Absurd? Yes!!! Manager did turn the AC on in our room for 2 hours in the evening and it never worked after that during another hot night. Bath towels had mildew, funky smell as if they forgot to wash them from previous guests. I have been traveling through Europe for 4 weeks and this is the only hotel I cannot recommend to anyone. By the way, Germany is a Beautiful country to visit and I will defenitely return.

Chocada com o bom gosto desse hotel ! Lindo ! Os quartos modernos , confortáveis , luxuosos e em uma cidade tão pequena , mas tão linda ! O recepcionista foi super atencioso e gentil . Um hotel que fez a nossa noite especial . Super bem localizado , ao lado de uma taberna antiga e familiar maravilhosa e acolhedora . Parabéns pelo hotel é funcionário.

Wir fühlten uns noch nie so wenig willkommen, wie hier. Bei unserer Ankunft (20:00 Uhr!!!!!) öffnete uns ein verschlafener Hotelmitarbeiter die Tür, wir wurden weder begrüßt noch hereingebeten. Der Check in sollte lt. booking bis 18 Uhr erfolgen. Aufgrund von Stau verspäteten wir uns. Der MA (vermutlich der Inhaber) sagte, dass er uns angeblich auf die Mailbox gesprochen hätte, dies war nicht der Fall. Es wurde auch weder eine Nachricht über booking geschickt oder eine Mail versandt. Uns wurde der Eindruck vermittelt, dass wir um diese nachtschlafende Zeit (20 Uhr !!!) auf keinen Fall mehr willkommen sind. Als wir das Haus dann betreten haben, wurde uns gesagt, dass es ja ein ziemlicher Aufstieg ins Zimmer mit dem großen Koffer wäre, dann wurden wir alleine gelassen. Weder wurde uns angeboten den Koffer hinaufzutragen, noch wurde uns ein schöner Aufenthalt gewünscht oder sonstiges freundliches Wort mitgegeben. So eine Art und Weise haben wir noch nie erlebt, es fühlte sich an, als würden wir bei jemandem Zuhause einfallen und uns aufdrängen. Dieser berühmte und so wichtige erste Eindruck hat uns nicht mehr losgelassen und wir konnten den Aufenthalt weder genießen, noch fühlten wir uns wohl.

Mooie locatie, midden in het centrum. Vriendelijk personeel, een prachtige, ruime kamer met heerlijke bedden en een regendouche. Uitgebreid ontbijt Parkeren op een paar honderd meter voor €4,00 per dag Voor ons geen minpunt, omdat we het wisten, maar … restaurant en bar waren gesloten tijdens onze 2 nachten

Flot stort værelse centralt i byen med mange restauranter og udgangspunkt for vandreture til borgen over byen og vinmarkerne.

We enjoyed our trip but.when paying extra for ac it should not have been turned off at nigth .when you need it most to have a good nites sleep

Nice quiet hotel with great staff in a prime location. Very nice buffet breakfast. Only downside was third floor room with no elevator.

Lovely hotel in a lovely small town on the Rhine.
