紅色羽毛酒店(The Red Feather Inn)

A fabulous property, with lovely (calming) gardens. We stayed for a night prior to a Hike with the Tasmanian Walking Company. The Cottage was very private and loads of room. Very good value for a family of 5. All the facilities and a lovely continental breakfast left for the morning. Parking available if needed by the property. We self catered - there is a small IGA down the road offering lots of options and next to it a small Bottle Shop for other refreshments. Very friendly reception when we checked in. Made sure we were welcomed etc.

This inn is remarkably beautiful and excellent value. We stayed before and after the Bay of Fires walk, my friend and I had two separate rooms before, and one of the cottages after. The decor and ambience were quite literally the nicest I have seen in Australia, and I have stayed at some really good hotels. Every tiny detail had been thought through, and bathrooms were stunning, deep baths, hot showers, all very tasteful. Free continental breakfasts were provided, which were ample and coffee pod machines or plungers in every room. The onsite restaurant was nice too. If you are planning to stay anywhere near Launceston, I would absolutely recommend here. It is gorgeous.

Such an amazing place to stay in the village of Hadspen a short drive from Launceston. In a historic building that has been perfectly restored we had two very good nights in The Loft. There is breakfast provided in the room of toast, yoghurt and granola. All we needed. On the second night we ate in the Red Feather restaurant and it was delicious. Served in the converted barn next door. Highly recommended.

I have always wanted to stay at this beautiful Inn. And it did not disappoint. The beautiful heritage building was so beautiful. The rooms were so nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was devine. Breakfast was provided and was very good as well.

My family of five has three teenage daughters and Pearce’s cottage was perfect. Three bedrooms, two lovely bathrooms, a great kitchen, lounge and dining areas. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and well maintained. A great washing machine and dryer were a bonus. It is 10 minutes drive to Launceston, but breakfast supplies, beautiful accommodation and very reasonable rates make it worth the drive.

My partner & I stayed two nights in the Loft. From the second we arrived, the lovely host Lydia was welcoming and warm. The gardens and room looked picturesque of the French countryside and were stunning. The loft was cosy and warm, and I actually preferred staying 10mins drive out of Launceston rather than in the city centre. The drive into Launceston was easy and quiet and it was no trouble finding parks when in the city. Everything about our stay was lovely! Would 100% recommend and return.

Just returned from a short break in Tassie, and had 2 nights at the Red Feathers. Lovely location in the beautiful village of Hadspen, with gorgeous gardens surrounding the place. We stayed in the attic room, which is pure luxury, very spacious, comfy bed and a fabulous bathroom. The staff here are fabulous, you feel like you've walked into a friends house, and the welcome is honest, warm and genuine. We had dinner in the little restaurant, which was a 2 or 3 course set menu, and prepared by a lovely lady, who spent time chatting with us. I thoroughly recommend, and also their sister property for a drink and a bite, the Clarendon Arms. Excellent!
