Good location very close to the railway station, restaurants etc and a short hop on the metro either downhill to the lake or uphill to the centre of town. One of the nice check in 'gifts' was a public transport pass for the length of your stay....handy. Rooms are a little bizarre in design and don't take a cat as you won't be able to swing it!!. Bed very small, low and uncomfortable however walk in shower in the small partitioned bathroom very good. Breakfast OK ish. Think you pay a premium for the excellent view of the lake. Reception staff very good and helpful. Nothing special about this place but handy, very clean with good staff.
Rooms were extremely clean with comfortable beds. Staff were amazingly friendly. They made us feel home! I definitely recommend this place for a nice break, and the city has a small-town feel to it. Loris from the Concierge was very delightful and helpful, and helped us make the right choices around exploring the city/ area.
Excellent location but besides this this hotel offers an exceptional managerial team and reception staff . From the moment I arrived at the hotel for check-in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly team who made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. Fantastic staff on check out : D&Q manager Camille and Samet on the reception. They were incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth check-out process and look after their guest to the moment they leave the hotel. Every request I made, no matter how small or complex, was met with a genuine willingness to assist. Location is next to the tune station , they also offer you a travel card (complimentary ) for the period of stay . Rooms are spacious and of course it is by the lake . Fantastic in every aspect !
Due to unfortunate circumstances, our reservation in Du Marche was cancelled by ***********. When we were informed by Dean in the reception that there was hassle with our booking, we were standing there tired and feeling helpless. He patiently explained where the miscommunication occurred, told us he can give a room with private bath (as we wanted it) but only for one night (instead of our plan to stay for 2 nights) as they are fully booked the next day. He gave us *********** customer service number, lent me his internet so I can find a hotel that is available for 2 nights and was helpful in every way possible seeing how we were really disappointed and exhausted (it was 14:00 and we have not eaten any meal yet, coming from Chamonix). I give this hotel 5 stars for Dean's customer service. We could have enjoyed out stay in this hotel, if it was not for some unfortunate incident. Thanks, Dean.
