克羅伊克斯布蘭馳酒店(Hotel la Croix Blanche)

It is a very rare experience to be able to stay overnight on the island. There is no elevator and you have to climb a narrow spiral staircase. The sheets and rooms were clean. There were numerous small insects by the window. Breakfast was simple western food, but fine. The cheese and prosciutto ham were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful with smiles for directions and cab arrangements.

C’est probablement l’hôtel le plus horrible qu’on est jamais eu à réserver ces dernières années. La chambre est détestable tout est sale, la salle de bain était épouvantable, il y a du moisi sur tous les joints. Les fenêtres ne ferment pas comme il faut. Il y a des courants d’air glaciale qui rentre dans la chambre, l’accueil est inexistant, les propriétaires sont absolument détestables et non rien à faire du confort de leurs autres. Bref, si votre seule option est de dormir dehors, peut-être vous pouvez réserver ici, sinon fuyez.

Das Hotel war nicht ausgewiesen als Hotel sondern als Restaurant. Das Zommer ist sauber aber für € 230 pro Nacht zu teuer. Der Gipfel we dass ich für ein normales Glas Weiswein € 9,00 bezahlen musste. Das gleiche Glas gab es 10 m weiter für € 5,00! Das ist totaler Wucher! Da zahlt man nicht einmal in Norwegen!

The staff was overworked and so difficult to find when needed. It took 15 minutes to find the actual hotel because they closed its primary entrance and redirected entry through one of its partner hotels. After walking around and around and being ignored by a number of the staff, we then had to wait for over 40 minutes for someone to appear at reception to check in. To be fair, once the staff did show up, there were several nice individuals, but I think they were extremely overworked. Because it was so late we opted to eat in one of their restaurants and had the same issue, waiting almost 40 minutes to order and then even longer for the meal to be served. When finally we checked in, to get to the room, one had take our bags we had just brought up back down the stairs, leave the building, mount a second larger stair, walk around the back of the building, go down two flights of stairs, enter another door and then up two more flights of very narrow, circular stairs with all our bags. We were offered no help from the staff. I'm pretty sturdy but still, this was a lot of work. If you're older, I'd say this is just not possible. When we got to the room, it was very tight. I like small spaces, but this was extreme, especially for the price. For my wife to get to the bathroom at night, it was impossible to do without bumping into me and waking me up. The seagulls roosting on the roof right outside the window were insane and did not stop squalling until 2-3 in the morning, and then up again around 5 in the morning. I could have tolerated some of this, but for the price, it was just too much. St. Michel is a spectacular place but so thick with tourists it becomes almost impossible to appreciate. The food is horrible everywhere and one can tell everyone who works there is just tired of dealing with tourists. I would not recommend staying on the island at all, but for anyone who really wants to give it a go I would say so not even think of staying more than 1 day.

Nous n'avons pas fait l'hôtel mais le restaurant ce fut une catastrophe et immangeable. Crêpe qui sort d'un sachet et très peu garnie. Nous sommes parti sans prendre de dessert. Je déconseille très fortement.

Petit établissement au cœur du village du Mont Saint Michel. Soigné, excellente literie, bon accueil. Vue mer agréable. Le petit déjeuné servi dans un autre établissement juste à coté (partenaire) avec un buffet bien présenté. Des crèpes non-maison (dommage).

We booked that hotel on the Mont because we thought that it was important to experience the Mount without tourists and to see tide roll in and out. That was a great experience. We were also lucky to have three beautiful days weather wise. The hotel was good, although we had our room on the 5th floor, accessible only by a wooden spiral staircase: weak knees beware! Nevertheless, we had a great view on the sea. Breakfast and meals were at the next door restaurant Le St Pierre, but were excellent..
