Great experience with superb food. Didn’t try the spa but will definitely try next time

Had a great stay. Very grand building and service was great.

The service was great throughout the stay. Evening meal was really nice slightly slow but friendly staff. Breakfast was also of a good standard.

The common areas are nice but the rooms are awful, really dated and the smallest bath I have ever seen. Two beds zipped together DO NOT make a double bed. £25 an hour for late check out is a total rip off. The ‘champagne bar’ is a joke - the most miserable and uninspiring menu I have ever seen. The selection of coffee was more comprehensive than the choice of champagne, and they don’t sell it by the glass. And we were served warm wine.

Stayed for two nights, both superior rooms really lacked any view. First night view was just of a roof and a raised skylight. The second night was a little better as I had the tops of trees so a little better. The worst part of the stay was the average breakfast and dinner, and unfortunately dire service from the restaurant staff - absolutely incompetent at times and extremely slow (painfully slow)

I am not sure what is wrong with this property, Q Hotels have some of the best, most patient staff yet the hotel behind the facade is dated and run down. I have stayed at this hotel now around 20 times, staff know me but on at least 18 occasions something has been broken in the room, faulty, not working or last time the shower sprayed out of the wall and all over me whilst fully clothed. I have been upgraded now 3 times which isn’t great if your standard rooms are not fit for purpose. I will update you with my new video channel once live with my reviews!

Only the main house is vintage manor house the rest look like standard Hyatt hotel. Rooms were hot, ac didn't work. Tub dripped all night, toilet maybe flushed maybe didn't just depended...mildrew in shower, a few bugs. Took wait staff awhile to check in 7 different parties at check in while they stood there. Again at check out 3 parties queuing and neither attendant looked up for 5 min. Golf resort was a source of irritation with husband. He called to get a tee time and was told they don't hire out clubs even for travelers and hotel guests. We arrive and he found indeed you could. So that was a disappointment....not going to recommend or return. Had much better stays elsewhere nearby in the past.

We booked two nights in a luxury suite, £300pn, our very brief stay (until 1:00am the same night as check in) was an absolute disaster. Our rooms location was briefly described to us at check in. The hotel is a rabbit warren and considering we had booked a suite, we were left to get lost and try and find our room on our own. The suite was dirty, covered in cobwebs. The headboard on the bed was dirty and falling apart, not a good first impression. Wonky pics on the wall. We went to the bar for a drink and we were told to take a seat as they would come to us. 30 minutes later, no one came. We approached them again and sat in a more obvious spot. Even though we were well in view and the bar was quiet, we still waiting another 20 minutes until someone came over. We politely mentioned our wait to the waitress, who ‘snapped’ the drinks menu out of my hand?! She stormed off, but upon her return had composed herself and apologised, offering a free drink. We headed to the restaurant. The menu was extremely limited. We ordered starters which did not arrive. I was also told that the featured cocktail that I was drinking that evening was no longer available. This was because they had to go across to another bar to make this and it had proven impractical for them. The drink was advertised within the restaurant. We left at 1:00am due to the nightclub they were running in the bar below our suite.They didn't care. Instead of apologising the woman at reception rolled her eyes continously
