Homewood Suites by Hilton Allentown-West/Fogelsville

Front desk was not the greatest experience, took a while to get checked in and was not greeted at all. While waiting for the front desk to stop having a good time to check us in, my wife wandered around to the breakfast area while chasing our 2 year old who had gotten very impatient with the wait. The breakfast area was very dirty around 7pm at night so we will not be eating free breakfast either. When we got up to our room there was trash behind the bed, room was not clean, toilet had brown stain in it, bed sheets where stained and full of hair. Over all, I would not stay here again and regret paying what I did when I could have gotten the same result at a cheap motel.

We didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the hotel. Within minutes of being there my 2 year old came running out of the kitchen with two sharp kitchen knives that were put in a low drawer. There was a short grey hair in the bathroom that was not ours, and the comforter on the bed was very difficult to keep together. Otherwise the staff seemed friendly, the room was clean and the location was good.

This stay would be the definition of MEH at best. The best way to descried the room would be dingy and disrepair. All the furniture seem tired and the couch was stained all over. The kitchen and bathroom weren't much better looking as if it hasn't been cleaned in the last 5 visits or more. For rate they are asking you would expect a lot more out of the room. Everything seem to have a layer of dust on it, stained, or damaged. Curtains barely closed all the way, to stop the parking lot lights from coming in. Forewarn any guest planning on staying here there is an smell that comes from the water treatment plant behind the hotel. To me it doesn't seem like the hotel is doing anything about any of these problems that I mentioned.

The exterior areas were filthy . Patio funiturr was soiled stained and ripped. Room overall was clean but chairs and almost all seating was stained and worn out. Only had about 10 sheets of toilet . Towels were a mix of newer and gray ones worn out ones.

This hotel is a great value for the price. Excellent customer service... was able to check in early AND received an upgraded room.

I would absolutely stsy here again. Everything was great. The service was attentive, the hotel was clean, and breakfast was very good. Only issue was the sheets on our king bed really did not fit. Every morning i had to completely remake the bed all the way down to the mattress pad! I asked for different bedding and they remade it but same thing continued to happen. It was weird, but oh well. Otherwise no complaints!

I loved the size of the room. A lot of of the bedding has stains on it which grossed me out. There were also other families letting their children go wild in the pool facility without adult supervision. They left it a complete mess, so we decided not to use the pool at all. The staff were great and friendly though!

This hotel seems to be fairly new, and is clean and comfortable. Although a bit out of the way, there are restaurants nearby, with easy highway access. We would definitely stay here again.
