Stayed for two nights whilst attending the Williams HQ in Grove, Wantage to watch F1 Silverstone Stayed in the Lambourn as only available room available when booked. Believe gets busy with guests for weddings at nearby venues. Lovely room with great shower. Nove super king bed. No air con but fans left in room. Loved the tea tray with the homemade shortbread and flask of fresh milk. The only downside we found was on the first night guests from a wedding came back late that were staying in the room above and were really noisy till early hours of morning. No issues on the Sunday night. The food at the Greyhound was fabulous, we ate both nights from the a la carte menu and the included breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! The ingredients all local were so fresh! Carpark is small but had no issues parking our car. Taxis to Wantage must be booked well in advance which we did. Not the cheapest weekend but we had a great time and would very much recommend a stay here

Highly recommend the Greyhound Inn! All over good experience, the family room was excellent, breakfast and diner very tasty with brilliant service en the kids especially liked the colouring and the big yard/garden! Thanks so much!

Convenient location not too far from the Ridgeway trail. The room was well equipped and well decorated and the staff were helpful. The best thing about our stay was the evening meal.

Nice balance between traditional pub atmosphere and bistro restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food with excellent menu choices (we had lunch and breakfast - out for dinner). Very comfortable rooms and off-street parking.

Friendly staff, small but comfortable quaint old room. Might be a bit difficult for those with mobility issues as quite a few stairs and low doorways in our particular room. Tasty dinner and good breakfast selection. Handy for walking the Ridgeway.

Professionally run friendly hospitable traditional pub with very good food towards the higher end of the price scale. Room size in keeping with age of property. Very clean. Also, the locals are friendly!

Unfortunately we could only stay in our beautiful room for only one night. Huge comfy bed, very quite and good facilities within the room. The staff are excellent and nothing is any bother. Good customer service. Well stocked bar and a good menu. We would travel here just for the breakfast. We will definitely return.

Excellent food and clean comfortable rooms make this an ideal place to stay. Good walking from the door into Wantage or onto the Berkshire Downs
