The Campbell House Lexington, Curio Collection by Hilton

The hotel restaurant and lobby was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was rude and impersonal. You couldn't get served at the restaurant if you didn't have reservations but we didn't know that ahead of time. Momday morning there was no breakfast, only coffee. The room was old and not well kept. The bathroom was tiny and there was nowhere to put your toiletry bag. There was a very large bug in the bathroom. The ceiling looked as if it was falling in. And it had paint patches.

We loved the hotel. The restaurant was struggling. Boyfriends food was burnt and mine was half raw. Overall 8/10

Size of the room. Bathroom fan a problem. Could have used another corner arm chair.

Great staff, restaurant and bar but the bathroom in my guest room was underwhelming. HVAC inside the room was loud and annoying.

I was a little worried of the other reviews when booking, but personally I really enjoyed staying here. Yes the hallways and rooms don’t necessarily match the lobby or the restaurant, and yes the bathrooms are small, but that didn’t matter to us. I didn’t really notice a musty odor or anything like that. I thought the staff all around was super friendly, and it was a great location for what we were wanting!

It was good other than you could hear talking in the other room. And it was normal talking. Late at night so could have been tv.

Was an absolutely amazing property. If you are looking for a little piece of Kentucky charm, this is the place for you. On site restaurant was really good food & service. Free parking & friendly staff. Definitely a 10

The outside area around entry doors were unkept, large “nests” of spider webs with bugs suspended from them. Our bathroom tub had a small pool of what looked like blood in it. We threw a towel over it and did not use it during our overnight stay. The room was huge but the bathroom small, so small that the bathroom door opened into the toilet.
