列剋星敦逸林套房酒店(DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Lexington)

We were in town for a concert and instead of driving home decided to get a room. Could of pick other cheaper rooms but no one had a hot tube and this hotel atleast had jetted bath tub. Well it didn’t work. The nobe on the wall was broken and the water pressure wasn’t event able to fill the tub in 20 minutes. The room needed some updating. Furniture had chucks danaged and bathroom sink looked cracked. Definitely not what you expect for the price even discounted. But after a long day of work and night in traffic and it was already midnight so I just chalked it up to what is was. Breakfast was ok but the eggs had no flavor.

Overall the stay was just “okay”. The hotel is dated, although it appears cute. There were many dated features, including the wall heater in our room. The heater was very loud and woke us multiple times. It sound like we were right under a airport.

The a/c was extremely loud and rattled all night. We also did not have hot water for the shower- just lukewarm.

Traditionally the hotel is a good place to stay. But there have not been any updates over 20 plus years. It feels old and out of date. Next trip to Lexington I will stay somewhere else.

Room wasn’t vacuumed for ages, sheets were smelly, and supper loud air conditioner. Check in clerks ware very unfriendly. But they charge like a good hotel.

As usual Doubletree met our needs with no issues at all.

Awesome pillows! Great beds just an absolutely beautiful place!

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I don't know if it was due to construction on the other floors, but the bathroom sink backed up in the middle of the night and didn't drain. We still had a nice overnight stay.

The water in the shower was only lukewarm even tho it was hot in the sink. When I went down to check out the breakfast buffet, I let the lady at the front desk know. Then I went over and fixed a plate of food. I was met at the table by a lady who asked if I knew about the buffet. I asked what it was and she said it was $15. I told her that I wish i had known that before I fixed a plate. She went over to the front desk to charge it to my room and was told that there would be no charge since there was an issue with the room.
