里斯本奶酪及葡萄酒套房酒店(Lisbon Cheese & Wine Suites)

Booked this hotel following the reviews and watching the owner on you tube saying how fantastic his hotel was. Please don't be fooled as we were, hotel is nothing like in the pictures or in the video, this is not a four star hotel, far from it. Hotel is not clean, thick dust on skirting boards, we were met with stained seating and poor quality furniture in our room. Towels in the bathroom were supposed to be white but were actually grey. Room smelled really musty and the balcony was unusable due to dust from all the building work next door which we were not informed about. We decided to check out and asked to see a Manager but the manager refused to speak with us and has still not contacted us or spoken to us since we left. we were offered an alternative room but we declined as we just did not feel the hotel was up to the standard of a four star hotel in facilities but more importantly cleanliness. The hotel took £255 from us for 2 nights even though we checked out within an hour with no opportunity to speak with a manager, We were left to find somewhere else to stay which i am glad to say we did and the hotel we chose was fantastic with amazing customer service which this hotel just does not have. I have now read reviews of there other properties and the subject of cleaning or lack of it comes up a lot. if in Lisbon chose somewhere else and don't be totally mis sold as we were.

DO NOT STAY IN APARTMENTS!! We booked the apartment as a way to travel as a family. The website lists their apartments and suites as “luxury”. There was NO air conditioning and the apartment had 2 small fans 1 in each bedroom- none for the living room). When we arrived in August, it was 40 degrees celsius. The kitchen appliances are dirty. The blinds are ratty and we could barely open and couldn’t close them. The second night my daughter was in bed and picked up her iPad on the ground and ants started coming out of her keyboard. We then realized the apartment was covered in ants! They were all over the floor in two rooms and even in the bed. We called to complain and were told that there were no available apartments. Then later we were told they found an apartment (4 minutes later). When I said there was no a/c they said their website doesn’t say they have a/c (under amenities it says “a/c”.) To top it all off I was questioned why I didn’t call the night before to complain and they refused to give us any kind of discount or compensation. We left and moved to the hotel next door that has a/c and NO ANTS! Completely unacceptable for a place that listed itself as “luxury”.

L'hôtel est bien situé, dans le quartier Santos au cœur de Lisbonne. Le quartier regorge de restaurants, cafés et boutiques. Comme le nom de l'hôtel pouvais laisser imaginer, nous avons été accueillis par un verre de vin et du fromage tout deux délicieux. La chambre était agencée de manière atypique avec la douche en face du lit et une toute petite salle de bain ce qui rendait la chambre encore plus charmante et cozy. Chaque soir, le personnel laissait des petites pâtisseries accompagnées d'un petit mot dans la chambre. Le personnel était vraiment très gentil et accueillant. Le petit-déjeuner n'était pas très grand, mais tous les produits étaient régionaux. En bref, cet hôtel est une petite perle au cœur de Lisbonne.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura una settimana esatta, fine giugno 2023. Avevamo prenotato con molto anticipo, a gennaio di quest'anno, spinti dalle recensioni positive e dalle foto. Dobbiamo dire che è stata la miglior scelta che potevamo fare! Camera modernissima e particolare, con doccia a vista quasi di fronte al letto ( può piacere o no, dipende se vi interessa più la privacy o piú il "fattore estetico"). Unica "pecca" della camera era forse il bagno con wc e lavandino, il cui spazio sicuramente è stato ricavato da un ex terrazzino. Bellissimo ma non si chiudeva mai la porta ed è sempre rimasta accostata. Per il resto tutto perfetto, staff gentilissimo ( ogni sera ci lasciavano in camera due biscotti/dolcetti per la buona notte) e colazione buonissima e di qualità. Posizione ottima, 5 minuti nemmeno dalla stazione di Santos, dalla quale si arriva in 2 minuti a Cais Do Sodre. Torneremo senz'altro!

We couldn’t have loved this hotel more! Absolutely gorgeous. Just a lovely athletic. Wonderful concierge who was helpful and knowledgeable. Sweet breakfast and the wine and cheese was lovely. Great value. We would stay again! Convenient location.

Die Familienzimmer waren mit einem üblen Geruch, stark modrig, sowohl im Erdgeschoß als auch im ersten Stock. Die erste Nacht haben wir aufgrund des penedranten Geruchs nicht schlafen können. Im ersten Stock wurde es ab dem zweiten Tag bei offenem Fenster zumindest akzeptabel. Im Erdgeschoß wurde es bei geöffnetem Fenster nur noch schlechter! Das Hotel scheint ein großes Problem mit der Feuchtigkeit zu haben. Auch auf der Terasse im Innenhof waren die Spuren der Feuchtigkeit zu sehen. Unsere Zimmer hatten keine Dusche, nur eine freistehende Badewanne! Unbequem und ein zusätzlicher Grund für Feuchtigkeit und den modrigen Geruch. Es wurde uns trotz Versprechen des Personals nicht geholfen, obwohl ein anderes Zimmer in niedrigerer Kategorie verfügbar gewesen wäre. Die Rezeption ist nicht immer besetzt und der Manager war trotz mehrmaliger Anfrage nicht zu sprechen.

Als wir ankamen, fühlten wir uns leider nicht willkommen, auch machte der Mann, welcher uns die Türe aufmachte keine Anstalten, uns beim Gepäck hochtragen zu helfen. Das Licht beim Lavabo war kaputt, das Frühstück war ok, es fehlten aber Nüsse und es gab nur noch die Decaffeinato-Kapseln… Der Herr beim Frühstück war aber sehr nett. Unsere Freunde hatten eine Familiensuite gebucht, welche muffig roch, ein „Loch“ war und man konnte die Fenster nicht richtig öffnen, um frische Luft reinzulassen…Man hörte jedes Geräusch im Haus… Unser Zimmer war sehr schön, auch hatten wir frischen Tee auf dem Zimmer. Wir können das „Hotel“ leider nicht weiterempfehlen, da wir uns nicht willkommen und angemessen behandelt fühlten. Schade!

Man fühlt sich im Cheese & Wine direkt willkommen. Wir waren etwas für dran, deswegen waren die Zimmer noch nicht fertig und wir warteten in einem der sehr schönen Frühstücksräume bei – klar – cheese & wine (erste Runde aufs Haus als Begrüßungsspecial!) darauf, diese beziehen zu können. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön hergerichtet mit viel Fotokunst und schönen Antiquitäten. Das Frühstück ist üppig, lässt keine Wünsche offen (selbst wenn, kann man diese an die Küche richten), das Personal freundlich, zuvorkommend und die Lage des Hauses super in Tejo-Nähe und auch nicht weit weg von den Straßenbahnen. Ganz klar eine Top-Adresse!
