We did not stay but the review is for the Afternoon tea experience at their location. Reservations and option has to be made in advance, when we arrived evethything was set up for us in a great lobby toward the back. One had an option with champagne €37 or without €25, we took the alcohol. Of course the setting, the service was lovely. The food was delicious, dessert was nice and unique, the sandwiches were fancy, and a nice variety of various buscuits. Out of the three teas in Lisbon this was certainly the most "showing off" one. I chose the grapefruit tea and the only reason I'm mentioning this is because it looked like the loose tea blocked the nozzle so it didn't pour nice and smooth. This is the only place that had a loose tea instead of packets which created a problem. When our server tried to pour mine, he did a wee bit and when it gave him trouble (spilling it on white napkins etc) he put it down and left us to own demise with it. For the rest of the tea sipping I struggled to pour my tea (tiny dripping, holding the heavy pot and spilling everywhere as well) and just gave up and shared my other persons tea instead as there was plenty of it anyways. So heads up on the grapefruit tea selection. At the end we waited for the champagne but it never came. By that time we were over the alcohol plus we finished all the food so we asked for the check. We got charged as if we had alcohol, so that needed to be changed. If you want the most expensive experience for an afternoon tea, this is it. Fancy tiny sandwiches, flavorful desserts and although biscuits are not my favorite it's the most variety I've seen out there. Definitely a nice experience to have with your girlfriends.
