Locatie is best saai. Richting Augusta street is t veel gezelliger. Wij hadden de jacuzzi suite. Dus de duurste kamer. We moesten wachten op de kamer. Toen t klaar was moesten we zelf met de koffers naar boven. Ze wisten dat mijn man jarig was omdat ik versieringen had geboekt etc maar hij werd niet eens gefeliciteerd. Display van jacuzzi zit los. Personeel weet niet hoe de tv in kamer werkt. Met Bluetooth verbinden ging niet maar het personeel wist ook niet hoe. Ik heb 10 keer ik overdrijf niet gevraagd naar een late check out. Die overigens 40 euro kost. Maar tot op de ochtend van vertrek konden ze niet zeggen of dit mogelijk was. Ze doen hun best om aardig en vriendelijk te zijn maar voor een kamer van bijna 400 euro per nacht is de service ver onder de maat. Al met al t geld niet waard als ze dit soort prijzen willen rekenen moet de service fix omhoog. Wel een mooi hotel

Great location and team very efficient and welcoming. Issues that were mentioned in other reviews: 1. shower design is poor: no privacy, you are in a glass box essentially on the room-humidity is high. Better be very comfortable with your mate there. 2.The pillows are really bad! Had to use my down jacket for a pillow, seriously. 3.The light in the bathroom is bad 4. It is very loud with windows open even on a high floor. Positives: Location is great and was very clean with great daily cleaning service, nice linens, good water pressure and temperature. Ok if you are in a bind as I was.

Super hotel. Great location. Very clean. Very good food. Staff were brilliant. Has parking on site. Only problem was the bed - it was a very hard bed. Personal choice but would have preferred a more comfy bed. Only stayed 1 night so wasn’t as big an issue but if staying for a few days then might have been an issue. Super otherwise. Well done.

There was significant construction happening right outside the hotel. Made it a bit hard to find on our first day, but wasn't an issue after we knew where the hotel was.

Hervorragendes Hotel an guter Lage, ruhig, sehr sympathische Umsetzung des Nachhaltigkeitsgedankens. Authenthisch. Frühstück mit lokalen Zutaten. Wunderschönes Design.

It’s a wonderful hotel — the staff are lovely — helpful friendly warm Then there’s the in-house spa. It is great for the weary traveler. A hot steam room, whirlpool and sauna. One evening, my last, I simply stayed “home” and enjoyed all three. And the restaurant is top notch. There’s location. It’s very convenient to the center of town — cafes, the port An easy walk And there are several local eateries that serve authentic Portuguese fare I stayed at the hotel twice and can honestly say, no complaints!

Comfy bed. Clean and pillows were fresh. Minor repairs needed. Spots on carpet. Food in restaurant was very good. And real concern for allergies. Gluten friendly.

At first I thought it was going to be loud but it wasn’t. Great shower and great air conditioning. Free parking helped a lot. Definitely would stay again.
