You'll have to park at Friar's mall car park, which is a short five to ten minute walk to the hotel. The parking has good rates, especially the overnight 6am to 6pm deal @£1.50. For me, this worked out at around £3.50 on average depending on what time you enter and leave the car park. You'll be looking to pay about £4 plus the hours added to the overnight charge. Good treadmill in the small gym, dumbbells, cycle machine, and one other machine. Great breakfast!

Great overall stay. The room was modern and very clean, with a large TV infront of the bed which I loved. The only downside was that casting did not work on the TV. Despite following the instructions, it never worked. Would have loved to watch my own shows as the arrangement of the room made it like a cinematic experience.

Nice clean new interior to the hotel, great food in the restaurant and breakfast was fine. Nice view from the room over looking the river Usk

This hotel only opened 7weeks ago. Lovely room for one night stay, comfy bed, friendly staff, overall great stay after attending a festival. Would definitely recommend

Great hotel

The 2nd year of staying here whilst visiting family over Chris**as and the standards have remained exceptionally high. This hotel is right in the centre of the city next to Friars walk yet felt quiet and peaceful throughout the stay. All of the staff are exceptionally welcoming, and the room was spotless. If you’re visiting Newport and need quick, walkable access to the city centre, Rodney Parade or train station I’d highly recommend.

A modern, clean hotel with great staff ( reception, bar and cleaner), central location and excellent amenities. We had a great time there. The view from the room was spectacular! Will definitely visit again
