Met with cousins on Sunday here and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was very good and staff very attentive It was very busy, so considering you have to drive here it’s a testament to the fact that they are doing things correctly Excellent

Went today - was driving past and popped in - superb in every way - friendly helpful staf, beautiful food and great decor. Went out of their way to make sure we had a good time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

A last-minute booking and so pleased to have discovered it. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, and some really nice touches in the bedroom for the dog, including a special bed and unique treats. Comfortable, well-appointed and quiet bedroom. Excellent shower. Comfy, large bed. Decided to opt for room service dinner as the dog was too excited to settle in the pub...nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. Throughly enjoyed a relaxed breakfast with the newspaper the next morning, after a wander through the nearby fields first thing. Highly recommended.

This is a bit of a hidden gem. A short drive from Wells and Glastonbury. There are also nice footpaths around the village of Litton and the reservoir. There was a slight hiccup with the room choice but we were given a free upgrade to compensate. We had the luxury room with the roll top bath. The room was immaculately maintained. We had requested one that didn’t overlook the car park and was a bit further from the bar but there was no noise after about 11. A recommendation would be to add blinds and keep the curtains closed during the day before guests arrive. Luckily for us it wasn’t too hot when we stayed. Bathroom nice and spacious, bed comfy. Plenty of tea and coffee. I loved the restaurant food. So great to have pie with chunks of meat and the veg was just the right side of crispy. We also had drinks in the outside areas. And the staff were all incredibly attentive and helpful.

The meal we had here was good, the Rose wine was ok. The atmosphere was quiet but we did come here at the start of food service. Would come back.

Perfect stay from start to finish. Team were absolutely wonderful, including Ollie and George who went above and beyond. Booked for my wife’s surprise birthday and couldn’t fault. Room was cosy, clean, decorated wonderfully. They’d thought of everything to make it a lovely stay. Food was delicious

A hidden gem nestled in the countryside. I visited with my mum after reading the reviews and we weren't disappointed - the food was absolutely delicious, staff were very freindly and welcoming, and the rooms were beautiful. Lovely walks nearby and location is so peaceful. We will definitely be returning, thank you for a wonderful stay.

What a little gem of a place this is. We stayed in Oatfields and what a lovely spacious room. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows perfect! No noise so we slept like logs! Breakfast choice was excellent with plenty to choose from even for a fussy eater like me.

It's a 'no brainer' to give The Litton 5☆'s. Situated on the edge of the village, set well back from the road, this pub/hotel is in a great location. There are seating areas to the front, side and rear of the premises, some of which are covered, for protection against the sun, or showers, with several of them also including heaters, for cooler times. Inside also offers several different, tastefully decorated eating areas/styles, so take your pick. Sally, the owner, has clearly invested a lot of time, effort and expense into designing and then decorating this place, as attention to detail is all around to see. That too goes for the staff. A young, energetic, very courteous and attentive team, without being intrusive. At the time of our visit, The Litton was not too busy, so I was fortunate to be able to have a chat with the general manager, George. Clearly very passionate about The Litton and has obviously invested a lot of himself into making the place and his team a well oiled machine. George himself deserves 5☆'s alone. The food and drink we enjoyed on a Friday evening was so good, we returned the following morning, for breakfast and the prices were very competitive too. You can tell the difference between this privately owned establishment and some of the large hotel chains, as the staff here clearly care about their customers and all seemed happy in their work. If we didn't live over 150 miles away, this would be our new local. So if you are in the area, pay a visit to The Litton, I'm sure you will receive a warm welcome

I enjoyed a fabulous dinner with my local friends at The Litton. The food was delicious, the service faultless and the environment delightful. I had the Duck dish with plum sauce with pancakes and Chinese buns - cannot recommend this charming place enough.

On a trip with my family from Denmark we just hoped in for lunch. I ordered pulled pork on a flatbread. It was more like Mexican tortillas I got and not a good one. Please serve some simple good food instead of trying to make it fancy. I really don’t know what I got, and the taste of the pulled pork was not amazing.

I love this pub so much, the outdoor areas are amazing, the indoor is so comfortable and the staff are so warm, welcoming and professional. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the sausage roll on their amazing ploughman's has changed recipe! It was incredible before....bring it back :-)

Excellent venue. Place was packed when we visited - because it is so good. We travelled up from Dorset to meet family and it was the perfect meeting place. Efficient professional staff. Great range of drinks and ales. Food was faultless. Well done Litton I can remember when this place was derelict but it certainly isn’t now.
