萊維索酒店(Leivatho Hotel)

Cute hotel in a really good location, the management are so lovely and will go above and beyond. The only minus is that it seems like it could do with a slight renovation to clean things up. Please visit Avithos preview restaurant and beach which is a short walk from the hotel it’s breathtaking!!!

Sono stato in coppia nella junior suite, completamente vetrata e molto spaziosa. Molto bello anche il panorama. Peccato che nella descrizione e dalle foto sul sito vengano omessi 2 particolari molto rilevanti: - i vetri che circondano tutta la camera, compreso il bagno, non sono specchiati, quindi bisogna stare SEMPRE con le tende tirate, poichè si surriscalda come una serra e i vicini vi vedranno in ogni momento (in pratica, una totale assenza di privacy senza le tende); - non c'è la porta del bagno, e dalle foto sul sito non c'è modo di capire questo particolare. È imbarazzante perchè dalla camera si sente tutto, anche qui grande assenza di privacy pur viaggiando in coppia.

(English version below) Ein attraktives mittelgrosses Hotel mit attraktiven Stränden um die Ecke, nahe bei Argostoli und dem Flughafen, gutes Infrastrukturangebot in der Umgebung (Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ausflugsziele etc.). Wir hatten eine Junior Suite, die uns in Stil und Design gut gefallen hat. Das gilt übrigens für das ganze Hotel. Sehr freundliches Personal, immer hilfsbereit, erwähnen möchten wir insbesondere den Barmann Dimitris, der immer einen guten Tipp für Ausflüge, Restaurants und dergleichen hat. Das Frühstück war anständig, hat aber unter der Prozessoptimierung gelitten: Der Kaffee aus dem Selbstbedienungsautomat ist fad und wässrig, das Früchteangebot ist etwas gar beschränkt, der Orangensaft wird mit Eiswürfeln gestreckt (bei Vollbelegung). In vielen Aspekten scheint uns das Hotel eine Auffrischung nötig zu haben. Die Klimaanlage ist bei 35 Grad Celsius überlastet. Der Dampfabzug in den Junior Suites ist funktionslos. Und die Dusche ist zwar stylish, aber teilweise dysfunktional. Insgesamt scheint uns das Leivatho keine 4 Sterne zu verdienen, wir würden es bei 3 Sternen Superior einordnen. Trotz einigen Mängeln haben wir schöne Urlaubstage im Leivatho verbracht. Overrated, but still nice An attractive mid-sized hotel with attractive beaches nearby, close to Argostoli and the airport, good infrastructure in the area (restaurants, shopping, excursions, etc.). We had a junior suite, which we liked in style and design. By the way, this is true for the whole hotel. Very friendly staff, always helpful, we would like to mention in particular the barman Dimitris, who always has a good suggestion for excursions, restaurants and the like. Breakfast was reasonable, but clearly suffered from process optimization: The coffee from the self-service machine is bland and watery, the fruit offer is rather limited, the orange juice is blended with ice cubes. In many aspects, the hotel seems to us to be in need of a refresh. The air conditioning is overstrained at 35 degrees Celsius. The steam vent next tot he bed in the junior suites is non-functional. And the shower, while stylish, is partially dysfunctional. Overall, the Leivatho doesn't deserve 4 stars; we'd rank it at 3 stars superior. Despite some shortcomings, we had a nice vacation at the Leivatho.

Wir haben im Januar 2023 ein Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick bei der Besitzerin gebucht. Nach achtstündiger Fahrt kamen wir endlich im Hotel an und bekamen ein Zimmer mit Garten Blick, bei dem man auf den Balkon gehen musste, um seitlich das Meer zu erblicken. Auf unsere Beschwerde bei der Besitzerin wurde uns von ihr mitgeteilt, dass wir gerne das Hotel verlassen und uns eine andere Unterkunft suchen könnten. Dieses war natürlich im Juli nicht möglich. Notgedrungen mussten wir sechs Tage in diesem Hotel verweilen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte vier Tage nicht, die Zimmer, die als architektonisch wertvoll beschrieben werden, haben ihre besten Zeiten gesehen. Siehe Fotos der Fußböden und des Bades , beide wurden über lackiert. Der einzige Lichtblick in diesem Hotel ist die Rezeptionistin Frau Marina. Sie war sehr hilfreich und stets sehr freundlich. Schade, dass einem der Urlaub auf diese Weise vermiest wurde.

Ottimo resort incastonato nella vegetazione di Svoronata. Bellissimi appartamenti in pietra dotati di angolo cottura, zona salotto, zona letto e bagno con doccia e finestra. Il nostro era al primo piano con terrazzino vista mare. Curato il giardino, pieno di ulivi, piante ed alberi da frutta. Bella la piscina locata nel giardino dove si fa colazione e si cena, in una cornice con splendida vista mare. C’è anche una piccola palestra e un’area giochi per bambini. Molto pulita la camera (con cambio giornaliero di asciugamani) e gli spazi comuni. Bottiglia di vino in omaggio all’arrivo. Bici in dotazione e possibilità di noleggio auto. La spiaggia di Avithos si raggiunge a piedi in 5 minuti. Non è decisamente la più bella dell’isola, ma l’acqua del mare è pulita e vicino ci sono due taverne caratteristiche per pranzo e cena. Vale l pena raggiungere Argostoli per girare la cittadina ed i suoi monumenti e dedicare una giornata alla splendida spiaggia di Myrtos, con un mare impareggiabile! L’aeroporto è a 10 minuti di auto. Ottima la colazione, varia sia nel dolce che nel salato e molto buona la scelta del menu per la cena. Camerieri molto gentili. Alla reception ti accoglie la signora Maria che ti coccola e ti fa sentire a casa fin dal primo momento, sempre disponibile a dare consigli su cosa visitare nella bellissima isola di Cefalonia. Che dire…peccato essere stati al Leivatho solo 3 giorni, ma ci resterà nel cuore il ricordo di un bellissimo anniversario di nozze.

Personale gentilissimo, accoglienza impeccabile con bottiglie di vino locale direttamente in camera da assaggiare!hotel molto pulito con una bella piscina e dei comodissimi lettini con morbidi materassini, la colazione davvero ottima con prodotti locali, anche il ristorante per la cena è stato molto soddisfacente,che dire ottima scelta, ci tornerei sicuramente! Unico consiglio che darei è proteggere un po la doccia esterna della piscina poiché spesso tira venti e manda l’acqua suo lettini di chi è disteso lí vicino😉

Meine Freundin und ich hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in Leivatho Hotel! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen.Zimmer Umgebung Frühstück Pool und der Umgang mit den Gästen ist einfach Perfect. Der kurze Weg zum Strand und die Taverne ist auch ein sehr großer Pluspunkt! Vielen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter! Wir kommen im September wieder. Vassiliki M.

We stayed last September in the Leivatho Hotel for 10 days. It was a peaceful and beautiful hotel. The rooms are large and modern. There are two tavernas on the beach which is a short walk away. There is a good beach bar on the beach. It is a lovely island which we explored on a 125cc bike.

We had a wonderful 10 night stay at the Leivatho hotel at the start of September. A very large part of what made our stay so enjoyable what the care of the hotel staff who were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Architecturally, the hotel has a beautiful, pared back design. Our room was spacious with a garden terrace where you could see the sea through some of the planting. The room was simply designed, very comfortable and everything you might need was available. Sitting out in the garden, you couldn’t hear another sound. I notified the hotel in advance that I was coeliac and to ask if there were any gluten free breakfast options available. I have no expectations when staying at a hotel about my diet being catered for and I often travel with my own gluten free supplies, but in addition to many naturally gluten free buffet items, the hotel had gone to some trouble to source gluten free bread and crackers which were kept separate from the rest of the food items. I was incredibly touched and impressed with the thoughtfulness that went into making sure I had a range of breakfast options. The hotel is very close to Avithos beach which is excellent and has a laid back feel, and we have visited many times in previous years. The hotel has its own restaurant which serves lunch and dinner, but there are also two excellent tavernas and a beach bar a short walking distance away should you want a change. A car would be advantageous, and we hired one for 7 out of our 10 days. There is a bus stop in the village, around a 30 minute walk away, which takes you to Lassi and Argostoli, but for convenience, a car is advisable. I’d really recommend the Leivatho Hotel to anyone looking for good quality and welcoming accommodation in this area of Kefalonia, and we would happily stay there again.
