Usual Premier Inn experience overall. Staff were lovely. We booked a Premier Plus room mainly for the coffee machine which turned out to be temperamental and leaked! Only staying one night so didn’t bother complaining. Room too hot as AC wouldn’t go down below 19 degrees so had disturbed sleep. Breakfast was good.

We picked this hotel primarily for its location as it's in the city centre and very close to my daughters university accommodation. Our room was clean and tidy and had everything except a fridge and any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet so we had a few good nights sleep. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food but the location is in the heart of the city and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. I also liked that there was a little desk beside the reception with extra milk, teabags etc so you could grab some extra if you needed them throughout the day.

Hotel room grand, great space and grand bathroom. Got the 2 course dinner and breakfast for £25-DON’T BOTHER!! Dinner pure raw- don’t eat here. Food is awful. But hotel is grand- eat elsewhere. Location grand for hotel- staff lovely. ……….::- minimum 200 characters.

The Premier Inn was a great hotel with really friendly and welcoming staff. It was secure - I was working in the city in the evening so slightly concerned about getting back into the hotel and to the room but I needn't have worried. You need a room card to be able to access the main door after a certain time as well as to the rooms. The room itself was good - a great space for working, with desk lamp, wall sockets and USB charger. The best part for me however was the Nespresso coffee machine (complete with 4 pods) and a fridge to keep my milk chilled. Complete game changer!

The hotel was in an OK location, nice and central. The staff at the hotel were polite and gave us a warm welcome. We dropped our bags and went out for the evening. On returning to the room, we had a moment to realise it wasn't cleaned to the usual Premier Inn standard - stains on the sheets, body hair in several places in the room/bathroom. It had been cleaned, just not well. Even worse, when we went to lock the door and settle in for the night, we discovered that the deadbolt didn't align with the door frame and so there was no way to deadbolt the door. This worried us, but with no staff around in the lobby, we pushed bags against the door and tried to sleep. Needless to say, staying in a city centre hotel with an improperly locked door, we awoke several times in the night with worry. We reported this at reception in the morning and sent off a form to Premier Inn central. Days and days later, we've had no response. Really sad to be leaving this review.

Next to Lime Street Station. In the centre of Liverpool. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed, clean room but the view from a very thin window was a alley and brick wall next to a very high rise building stopping any natural light coming in, needed lights on the whole stay. If I stay there again I would ask for a room on one of the higher floors.

Visited with my children recently, the room on arrival was welcoming and extremely clean, the beds where comfortable and cosy and it was perfectly located next to the city centre so we had a lovely weekend exploring! The team was on top form welcoming and happy very chatty and informative to my children who had a of questions! One of the Team members is believe his name was David was amazing making my children laugh and be excited for our visit to Liverpool.

Perfect location. We travelled by train and simply walked across the road from Lime Street Station and we were at the hotel. This Premier Inn is also very well situated. We found we could easily walk to all the attractions, shops, cafes etc and everywhere was well signposted. As two women on our own we also felt very safe walking back to the hotel on a Saturday night after a night out at The Cavern, as there were plenty of people around and all was well lit. In addition, we cannot praise the staff here enough. Everyone we met was so welcoming and friendly; genuinely nice people whatever their role. Plus, it was my sister's birthday and without any notice they very kindly arranged some lovely birthday treats for her, with our dining table decorated, balloons, a birthday sash etc. I am sorry I did not get your names but a huge thank you to the lovely young lady I initially spoke to about this and the nice restaurant Manager (?) who looked after us so well. Without a doubt we will be staying here again and have already recommended you to family and friends. Thank to all the staff for making our visit so enjoyable.
