底特律利沃尼亞萬豪酒店(Detroit Marriott Livonia)

I booked this room for a little getaway. The hotel was very nice on the inside(lobby), the room was clean and up to my standards. The only thing that I was unhappy about was I wanted a room with the patio, this was also in my reservations. However when I got to the hotel to check in, I was informed that they did not have any more rooms with a patio available. That was my whole point of choosing this particular hotel because of the patio. Had I known this ahead of time I would have chosen a different hotel. I would stay there again but I would call first to make sure the accommodations can be met.

********** positioned the hotel as able to accommodate 5 so we reserved a room only to find that they only have rooms for 4. Based on when we arrived, we had to pay for a second room in order to be able to stay. Our room was just ok - bathroom counter was coming off the wall, shower sprayed all over the floor, curtains dragged on the window sill and housekeeping never came to one of our rooms during the entire three night stay. Not what I would expect from a Marriott.

This hotel is so dirty, outdated and it’s really awful. The bedroom smell like sweat, the walls of the room were dirty brown stuff showed on the top of the walls, the bathroom shower/tub felt like it was going to collapse. The stuff however was friendly and very nice. The hotel needs a facelift definitely.

Our power went out so I searched and found this hotel nearby. Not the cheapest option, but better than freezing for a couple of days. It's a nice enough hotel. Clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was decent as well.

Checked in to hotel. Was warned that room won't be able to be cleaned due to worker shortage. Thought, OK, no big deal. I am only staying for 2 days, and will be out most of the time. I open my hotel room door and the bed is unmade, used towels are in the bathroom. I was OK with not having the room made up, had no idea that my room would be dirty when I got there. Luckily, as I was leaving the next morning. There was a maid nearby, I begged to clean my room. My room wasn't on her list, but she did clean my room. That maid is the only reason I left a semi-positive review. Big props to her, hotel management, not so much. Will be quite a while before I ever check into another Marriott.

Chose because it was pet friendly and pleasantly surprised that there was no dog smell in the room!. Staff was great! Great stay and will definitely return.
