埃瓜布拉瓦旅館(Parador de Aiguablava)

We spent a weekend at Aiguablava Parador in Begur. We were a party of four people. The good points were the location, the rooms (comfortable beds, fabulous sea view, spacious rooms, nice amenities) the hotel is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The swimming pool, at the top end of the cliff, although not massive, is large enough and with fantastic views of the area. A very privileged position with views of Aiguablava cove and a private path down to the cove. Breakfast was varied and good quality in general and served in the breakfast room with gorgeous views. Freshly squeezed fruit juice and good quality coffee. The negatives were the check in experience, too long and with an inexperienced receptionist who lacked aptitude in the trea**ent of experienced travelers/customers and couldn’t get my name right. There was a general lack of coordination between depar**ents (reception and restaurant) our evening meal reservation was not communicated to the restaurant either of the two days and my name was wrong in all depar**ents from beginning to end even though the receptionist had access to my ID card and the online booking form. The evening meals were sub standard. Generally unpleasant food, tasteless fish and a dirty lukewarm brown sauce, packet custard-based deserts. Brick sized chunks of melon as fruit salad. Some dishes were inedible. A very limited wine list and very expensive wines. The service in the restaurant varied from pleasant to inappropriate with some comments from waiting staff demonstrating their inexperience and unsuitability to work in a hotel of this category, even though they were pleasant and kind at all times. On a final note, I requested by telephone if it would be possible to have some candles on a desert on our final evening as we were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. The receptionist said it would be no problem but it was not communicated to the restaurant and forgotten. As there had been so many hiccups with communication in general I didn’t bother to even try to remind them.

Super séjour

Magnifique hotel situé sur un promontoire , toutes les chambres ont vue sur mer, sont spacieuses et le rénovation de 2018 est une réussite, pour les amoureux du design, par contre quelques defauts restaurant cher et médiocre et spa hors de prix ( 40e entrée) et manque bouilloire ou machine café dans les chambres

Somos clientes habituales de Paradores y teniamos ganas de conocer este Ubicacion privilegiada con unas excelentes vistas al mar Hemos ido con lluvia por lo que no hemos podido visitar la playa,en verano supongo debe ser distinto Edificio moderno y bonito Cafeteria agradable Habitacion amplia con vistas al mar,aunque la ducha necesita mas limpieza en la junta de las baldosas (126) Atencion amable como siempre

Decidi transcurrir mi cumpleaños en un lugar especial que pudiera sorprenderme, y encontré el Parador de Aiguablava. La belleza natural y del Parador, junto con la profesionalidad y cercanía de todo el personal, consiguió que transcurriera una celebración inolvidable. Quisiera dar las gracias a todo el personal por habernos permitido transcurrir está experiencia memorable.

Al llegar a horas punta en los comedores Cena y sobre todo desayuno muy mal por falta de atencion del personal Creo que falta personal y esto conlleva a no atender bien al los clientes Tuvimos de marchar sin poder comer una simple tortilla .Lo pedimos 2 veces y fue imposible cuando salimos del comedor ya no habia mucha gente

Es la segunda vez que volvemos a este parador, y seguro que no será la última. Esta vez nos hemos alojado en la habitación 304 con unas impresionantes vistas al mar y a la montaña. Nos ha encantado especialmente el jacuzzi, aunque el agua estaba demasiado caliente, pero ha sido una auténtica experiencia disfrutarlo. También hemos disfrutado de su gastronomía y excelente servicio en el restaurante del hotel. Y del spa también ha sido otra experiencia magnífica. Todo de 10

Un magnifique séjour dans une chambre supérieure (au deuxième étage, sans doute la meilleure chambre de l’hôtel, mises à part les suites au troisième) avec une vue sur mer imprenable. Chambre spacieuse avec balcon et fauteuils pour bien en profiter. Literie confortable et très grande salle de bains. Beaucoup de rangements dans les placards. Petit déjeuner copieux avec vue sur la crique et dîner très correct. A recommander chaleureusement !
