看地圖定的 看上去離大路不遠 以為交通會比較方便 其實不然 進出都需要開一段小路 遇到會車比較麻煩 酒店本身是很不錯的 聖誕快到了 佈置的很温馨 早飯也很好吃

位置很好，乾淨整潔，服務很棒，就是位置有點偏，但是可以體驗到難得的英國鄉村生活，會是很難得的經歷與體驗

Stumbled across this pub after a walk through Usk. Proper country pub, fabulous atmosphere, cosy corners, very Christmassy, lots of lights inside and out, Christmas tree, real fires, faux furs, rustic and very clean. There are some large rooms with big tables in for gatherings offering some privacy, a dining area, an outside wooden cabin which is decorated and heated. It’s quite unusual inside, one room looked like a library with a large dining table for example and there are stairs leading upstairs and off to the sides, some low ceilings in some areas- unique. There are outside benches also and lovely grassed areas. We only stopped for a drink initially as knew they’d stopped serving food however the chef stayed on for us, so we enjoyed a lovely meal here. There’s a good selection of food plus specials, and a vegan menu. It was fresh, plentiful and very hot. Husband had a turkey burger which was lovely and I had a tasty cod and chips. They we were not phased that we initially only stopped for a drink and I didn’t see anyone turned away. There’s also a secure dog field so your pup can burn some energy off if need be before going inside. There’s a bar if you want drink/ snack which is located up a few steps or if you can’t do steps there are some rooms for which the access is flat and the toilets can also be accessed easily. You can also stay here which is a bonus. Would be a lovely wedding venue / birthday venue etc. It’s a rare find to come across a proper pub these days rather than a chain. Will be back.

Shocked and surprised to be rejected at the door because we were not eating a meal during the Christmas break. The pub car park did not have many cars. No wonder the pub industry is in a state, here we have a so called country pub that isn’t a pub! Not only is a pint in this pub is very expensive but now is a wasted journey, best stay at home where it’s warm and the beer is cheaper. No longer is there a friendly pub locally. I was hoping to make this my regular but not anymore!

Great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff. Service was lovely, highly recommend this lovely pub and hotel. Seasonal menu also lovely.

Fabulous food in a friendly atmosphere. Delicious curry made gluten free. High quality dishes and service. Can recommend highly.

Thursday night during half term, 2 poor staff rushed off their feet (one was new). Booked in for 6:15, only received our food at 8PM and has to chase it up. Poor staff did as good a job as possible with no sign of a manager or help. Was meant to be table service but everyone had to ordered at the bar. A classic example of profit's before people, poor service, not so good food. We're locals and won't be back.

Came for an evening meal with friends, the service was amazing and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and fresh, my husband and I both had steak which was cooked to perfection. Being gluten free it is often difficult to find restaurants that cater for me, but the menu was clearly labelled with lots of gluten free options which I really appreciated. My husband and I shared a baked camembert for starter which came with one of the best gluten free breads I have ever tasted, which was also vegan. Our waitress recommended a red wine to pair with my steak which was a lovely touch and the wine was amazing. we were very impressed and will certainly be returning soon!

We love the Greyhound & have always enjoyed visiting here to eat. Had a great evening meal to catch up with cousins ahead of a family event. Warm, friendly welcome, wide-ranging menu with something to suit everyone, competitive pricing & well cooked food. We stayed overnight & were treated to a fantastic breakfast the following morning too!

Great day out Perfect service with a pleasant young man who was very helpful Had the Tapas for 2 and a jug of Sangria Both of which were excellent especially sat outside on a sunny day Will have to return and repeat as it was also good value

Booked a table for 3 at the Greyhound for Friday evening for a birthday celebration. When we arrived we found that the table was cramped in a corner. Seeing that it was a warm evening we asked if we could sit on one of the outside tables. This was seven in the evening, there were very few people there most of the tables were empty. We were told that we could sit outside. We went outside and sat at the table. While our son went to the bar to get drinks a young woman came out and told us quite rudely that we would have to move. We asked if we could sit on the table next to it, she said no all the tables were booked she said that we could sit out the front next to the road and if we wanted food we would have to go up to the bar and order ourselves. We did go outside to the front and sit and we did order a meal which we regretted. The food was not cooked well and did not match what the menu said. The prices of the food was expensive for the unedible dishes that came out. We found the staff to be rude, unhelpful. I would not go there again, it was a total unpleasant night out.

We had four nights there, the host looked after us very well,the staff were great and the food was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The most picturesque restaurant/hotel available. The food is divine, staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. Beautiful inside and out. Thank you for making us so welcome, will definitely come again

I booked the venue for my daughters 40th Birthday, were a group of 15. The ambience and surroundings were magical. The staff were amazing . The food was of an excellent standard piping hot and beautifully presented. The staff were polite and professional, all items served in a timely manner. This was an excellent venue and would highly recommend. I booked a room for my daughter and her partner and the feedback was the staff couldn't do enough they loved the room and the breakfast was AMAZING. Massive thanks to all of you you helped make my daughters birthday unforgettable, we will definitely return!
