Gorgeous hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Had a very pleasant experience staying here for the week with some friends and their children. The staff were always happy to help and provided us with anything we needed. Was so lovely I thanked all the staff on my way out! I would 100% stay in this hotel again.

Very good hotel and very affordable! Staff were great and very accommodating to any needs that we had. Would definitely stay at this hotel again due to the friendliness of staff and them always being happy to help. Also, the cleanliness of the hotel room was outstanding, and the bed was so comfortable, never had such a good sleep in my LIFE! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Clean and tidy, all round great stay. Staff welcoming and friendly. Great stuff to do in local area. Has a restaurant on site, serves food most the day. Bed was comfy, no issues with my sleep. Tea and coffee in the rooms, thought was a nice gesture. Would 100% be staying again

The hotel was in good positioning for our needs and it was nice and clean. The staff are friendly. We will definitely consider using this hotel again when friends and family want to come and visit us next. We have used Premier Inns in various places now and they are always good.

Good things - location, food, clean room and comfy double bed with coffee and tea making facilities Bad thing - Room 3 had a musty smell probably coming from a tacky/sticky floor that put us off showering. Was only a one night stay for a funeral so didn’t complain

Room 114, Has a bacterial/urine smell on entry, Bathroom is smelly and worn, Bed is a cheap mattress with a topper, No hypnos experience here. Both nights, aircon turns its self off so the room becomes stuffy. Restaurant is worn, Carpets filthy, Food is nice & tasty on a friday, Tasted bland on the Saturday when busier, The female server is pleasant & helpful, The men run around like headless chickens, I stay in Premiers all over the UK and the biggest issue is cleaning, Stains on carpets and unpleasant smells due to not deep cleaning

Stayed for the weekend to enjoy the royal mint experience with my partner. On arrival receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful and give us fab recommendations on local sight seeing and activities to fill our lovely weekend. Our room was spotless and very comfortable during our stay, fresh towels upon request from reception. Got the pleasure to meet the lovely Sophie which I believe is the manager of the hotel, she went above and beyond for us during our stay. The hotel has a restaurant called beefeater on site, the food was delicious and lots of variety, lovely friendly service from all the staff. Hoping to return soon.

Have been staying for years. Last time after 4 hr journey arriving at 14.50 we were told we had to pay early check in!! This time, despite it being December, heating was off and windows opened. Freezing. Both days we had to ask for heating to be put on remotely. Uncomfortable. One bath towel for two people. Shouldn’t have to request one each. Prices are more. Quality is less.

Fantastic hotel! Good price, really clean and no issues whatsoever. Everything you could need for a short stay. All the staff I saw were very helpful and nice which really made me feel welcome there. Would definitely go back again in the future!
