歐洲酒店(European Hotel)

飯店位置便利，步行即可到達國王十字車站。工作人員非常樂於助人，但是浴室沒有盥洗用品，房間的清潔度也有問題，羽絨被上有痕跡，茶勺和茶杯也不乾淨。

很原始，價格昂貴，靠近火車站

No hair dryer, room environment rather dirty.

Nun, unser zweiter Besuch in London und bekanntermaßen sind günstige Hotels brauchbarer Lage spärlich dort gesät. Wir hatten ein 5-Bett-Zimmer zur Nutzung durch vier Personen als Familie gebucht. Das Zimmer lag im Keller mit Ausblick auf einen schmuddeligen Lichthof. Okay. Ging ja schon mal gut los. Das Bad war zwar groß, vom Eindruck her aber versifft. Schimmel (Bild) am Waschbecken. Ein Heizkörper mit Rostflecken. Nicht komplett geschlossen Installationswände mit Blick auf Schimmelwände und versiffte Rohre (Bild). Am ersten Abend verstopfte nach dem ersten Gebrauch das WC. Dies wurde nach Meldung an der Rezeption zwar nahezu umgehend behoben, jedoch hätte wir Anwesenheit dabei gerne verzichtet. Wände und Decken in Jahre gekommen, teilweise lieblos fleckig überstrichen Für uns kein Ort, um nochmal einzukehren. Zwei von fünf Sternen gibt es für die Lage, Erreichbarkeit und in Relation zu anderen den Preis. Die Betten waren gerade so brauchbar. Das Doppelbett recht schmal. Mangels Alternativen haben wir uns entschlossen die zwei Nächte durchzuhalten.

I stayed here many times before Covid and it was okay. I stayed again last week and was disappointed because it’s more run down than before. Tv didn’t work, room was dingy and dirty. I tried to stay again a week later and they could not find the key to my room at the front desk. None of the employees that cleaned the rooms had the key either. They gave me another copy. Questionable safety. I went to my room which had a shared washroom and shower. They were both filthy. I left and found another accommodation. There are many hotels within a 200 m walk for a similar price that are much cleaner and safer (e.g., use fobs or touch code instead of hard key for rooms). I would not recommend staying here.

The bedroom was clean and tidy. I could see some light mould stain in the wall. The bedroom is small but comfortable. The fridge needed to be changed because it’s noisy specially through the night. The Wi-Fi worked very good for a two hours meeting on zoom but the next day it wasn’t the same. I needed to turn on my internet. The location is great.

Great last minute stopover and great value for money considering the cost of everything nowadays. Bed was clean and fresh, TV worked, nescafe and a kettle etc. Shower was powerful enough. Yep, good value and lovely staff. The 2 girls on in the morning were so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't honeymoon there but for a clean room with ensuite and a good night sleep I would recommend it. In the words or Arnie... I'll be back.
