This was the only accommodation option that made financial sense on Easter Day. Located close to Wimbledon Park station and Wimbledon Park itself, my tennis-loving partner absolutely enjoyed the location (only a quick 30 mins from central London). We enjoyed the restaurant/pub downstairs (delicious food at 30% off for guests). The room itself was clean, with generous bathroom and comfortable bed, and decent WiFi. Friendly service too. No refrigerator or television, but that didn't really matter as we were only staying for a night. Would definitely recommend!

Buena opción económica Pues en realidad es un pub que tiene cuartos arriba, no tiene servicio por las noches o las mañanas, nos quedamos sin toallas y no hubo quien nos ayudara, la ubicación es buena y el hotel bien en general, no tiene elevador.

The hotel is NOTHING like the picture; I was put in about an 80 square foot loft with 4 foot ceilings and no A/C, so it was over 90 degrees F each night. They did give me two fans which minimally helped, but what an awful experience. The hotel has no front desk, it is actually a pub with a few rooms being rented out above. The carpet looked like animals had done their business all over it, being completely stained and gross.

From waiting 20 mins to get checked in, to the strong smell of food, to the super annoying electronic lock, to the leak coming through the ceiling to the general air of tiredness this was an experience to forget. Image shows the light coming in the window next to the bed at 5am - a pretty effective early alarm!

Dirty place… Very disappointed, recent room/bathroom renovation is qualitative and nice, but unfortunately the owners aren’t focused on cleaning… carpets, walls & doors, everything is dirty due to poor cleaning and maintenance. I wouldn’t recommend.

Anna was excellent and accommodated our needs even though we checked in a day late.

The staff was nice and helpful but the room smelled really bad and wasn’t clean.

We loved The Woodman. It was everything we were looking for. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff on reception and in the pub were fantastically helpful and we enjoyed both a dinner and breakfast which were very tasty. Should we need to stay in the area again we would definitely be back, thank you.
