康第酒店(The County)

I have stayed at the County Hotel many times, but due to the hotel not providing en suite facilities, I only stayed one or two nights. However I won't be staying at the hotel anymore, I have decided that I now want to stay in a hotel, that provides en suite facilities Furthermore the hotel does not provide breakfasts and evening meals, I was told that they stopped cooking food, during the covid outbreak and they have decided not provide food anymore. This is another reason why I won't stay at the hotel anymore. I have to say that the 'checkin' and 'checkout' staff are very friendly and helpful. I will always recommend the County Hotel, to anyone who is looking for a budget hotel, is only staying for one or two nights and is happy to stay there, once I've told them that the hotel, no longer provides food. Cheap hotel but do a job in city centre. I am staying there quite often. Sink in the room is very handy for face and teeth washing . Very good location next to Euston station.

Good price, near to central and transports. For all age. Friendly staff

We booked a room for an overnight stay to help with travel. The one positive thing I can say is that its location made finding a much better hotel nearby very easy. Upon arrival we were given a key to a cramped room with a single bed (we booked a double). To their credit, they provided us with the room we requested after a short wait. The room stank of cigarettes, the window didn't fully close, the sheets were dirty. The shared bathrooms are cleaned once every morning, and from the state of everything else I don't imagine they're cleaned particularly well. While this hotel is very cheap and in a good location, I wouldn't stay there for free. We left the room and stayed at another hotel nearby.

Best location but the hotel was cold and noisy

Absolutely a shameful excuse for a hotel. When we arrived at 3.30am after 12 hours of travelling, we were met by the manager, who to our surprise said our booking was cancelled due arriving after 2.30am. He said the issue was due to problems with ***********, which automatically cancelled our booking. This was however a lie to cover up the fact that they overbooked their own hotel, which i later found out, after a longer interrogation with the manager. They didn’t even care to book us another hotel and we were left stranded in London at 4am, with only a lead to the closest hotel. Can’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Absolutely disgusting room, hasn’t been cleaned properly or updated in years. The room smelt of smoke and mould. Shared bathrooms not cleaned. Pillows and bedding clearly very old and stained. Thick dust and dirt everywhere. Staff didn’t seem bothered by the state of the room, I was just told it was non refundable.

Alojamiento bastante decepcionante pero para lo que se paga por el pues bueno… no volvería a hospedarme aquí prefiero invertir un poco más en un hotel en Londres porque ha sido una experiencia no muy buena en cuanto al hotel

Actually went in Nov 2022 shortly before it closed for a full refurbishment. It was always very basic and over last few years became poorly maintained but it was a cheap option and central to Euston or Kings Cross. Be interested to see when its opened again and in what guise or price structure.
