奧林匹克之家酒店(Olympic House Hotel)

The only thing I didn’t like about this property is the lack of tea facilities in the bedrooms. I realise that other hotel around the area are doing the same thing… make a cuppa tea down in the foray… but I miss being able to make a cuppa when I first wake up and be able to climb back into bed with it. The same at night have a cuppa and a biscuit for one’s supper and not have to hike down stair for it.

The hotel is well located. On the day of arrival the receptionist was unfriendly. I told him to give me a good room as I had had bad experiences in other places and he told me that what they excel at is cleanliness! When I went up to the room to sleep, I found a strand of hair on the bed and a red stain on the pillow. I went back down to tell the receptionist that the bed, the most important thing in the room, wasn't clean. He told me to wait until ten o'clock the next morning and tell the hotel manager. On the second day I spoke to the hotel manager and she told me that it was the laundry's fault, not hers. As a hotel guest, I expect an immediate solution to the problem, regardless of whose fault it is, and this did not happen.

Por una parte, la habitación era muy pequeña y pedimos dos camas individuales y nos pusieron en una doble más pequeña de lo normal. Respecto al desayuno, muy pobre y con pocas mesas para todos los clientes que hay. Por otra parte, el personal del hotel es amable y buena limpieza.

Hotel location was lovely, in a very nice area of paddington just abstone throw away from Kensington Gardens. Service on arrival was great, very friendly staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. The tele was really small and so far away you couldnt even see it, but we only had it on for 20 minutes to unwind in our room at the end of the day so didnt matter too much. As we were on the lower level, our window was a view of the corridor to the breakfast room so it wasnt very private at all. The breakfast was the only real let down of our stay, very limited options - 2 x cereals, toast, 1 ham and 1 cheese and some pain au chocolats. The orange juice was really watered down, and there was no fresh fruit. The room breakfast was held on was also really small and over crowded for the amount of guests. I would stay here again but the breakfaat really needs inprovement.

As a solo business traveller this was a perfect stay for me - room was clean and cosy. Perfect for Paddington and transport into Central London. Stayed for two nights and would go again.

Lille hotel med meget små værelser, men fint og rent. Tæppet man sov med var ikke ok, manglede et større lagen til at sove med så man ikke lå med tæppet direkte som “dyne”. Morgenmaden var bare lige så man blev mæt, ikke noget overdådigt og meget lidt plads til folk. Vores madras på værelset var fuldstændig smadret og vi gjorde opmærksom på det, men det blev der ikke ændret på, så værelse 103, hold jer fra det.

Helt greit for et par netter. Vi var to kamerater som delte rom. I bestillingen fikk jeg valget mellom dobbeltseng og enkeltsenger. Jg valgte da 2 enkeltsenger, men fikk likevel en veldig liten dobbeltseng – med kun én dyne. Det var aircondition på rommet, men den virket ikke. Var derfor nødt til å åpne vinduet, noe som gjorde det vanskelig å sove pga støy. Veldi liten frokostsal. Vi fikk ikke plass hverken på lprdag eller søndag, og endte med å ta med oss frokosten opp på rommet.
