I have travelled the world and been very lucky that I have stayed in the best hotels and eaten there. I have ordered a simple breakfast of just toast in many of these hotels. The best offer you a choice of bread and bring you a few slices,wrapped in a cloth to keep them warm. In the Lanesborough I got one slice cur in half and on a plate and that was it. Grapefruit juice was not fresh and just beginning to turn and go off. Really unimpressed at this price. As I was a guest I couldn't say anything to my host and didn't want o cause a scene.

Our recent impromptu visit to The Lanesborough was a delightful stroke of luck. With about an hour and a half to spare before an event, we decided to pop into one of my favourite spots in London for a coffee, and as always, it never disappoints. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the most charming Christmas decorations – a true festive treat for the eyes. But, what really made our visit stand out was the wonderful staff. They were fantastic, striking that perfect balance of being attentive without being overbearing, even amidst the bustling atmosphere. A special mention must go to how they interacted with my daughter, who, armed with her new camera, became the most enthusiastic impromptu photographer. The staff’s encouragement and warmth towards her were heartwarming and added a sprinkle of extra joy to our visit. In short, The Lanesborough was the perfect choice for our unexpected break. It’s not just the elegant surroundings or the delicious coffee that makes this place special; it’s the people who bring it to life. A big thank you to everyone there for making our brief stopover so memorable. I guess it’s true what they say – sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones!

This is a great place to stay. The staff, without exception, are the most friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the service exemplary. We both wished we had reason to visit more often. After an evening at the theatre we returned to the withdrawing room for a night cap and gentle conversation with others. A perfect evening and a wonderful place to stay.

Séjourner Lanesborough, c’est une véritable expérience, unique par la qualité des services et prestations proposées. Les superlatifs viennent à manquer tant j’ai apprécié mon séjour et je tiens à remercier toutes les équipes pour leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse. Une adresse haut de gamme qui vaut plus que le détour ! POINTS POSITIFS - Accueil et check-in (sur-classement + coupe de champagne offerte) - Le fait que les équipes connaissent votre nom - Le service butler d’une redoutable efficacité - De magnifiques espaces communs à la décoration raffinée - Une belle chambre bien agencée et au calme (dernier étage avec vue sur la ville) - Un service de chambre impeccable et discret - Un superbe espace spa (spacieux et confortable) POINTS D’AMELIORATION - Pas d’ascenseur direct pour la piscine (+ des travaux qui obligeaient à être accompagné pour accéder au spa par l’extérieur) - Une salle de bain un peu petite - Un manque de produits dans la salle de bain - Bon à savoir la piscine n’est pas adaptée pour nager (piscine hydrotherapy)

My husband and I made reservations for the bar. At first, I was intrigued that we needed to make reservations but after going to the bar, I thought this was a brilliant idea. It’s for this reason - the ambiance, cocktails, food, and service deserve five stars through and through. There is nothing which could be improved upon. Our server, Angel, assisted us with our selections and the cocktails were impeccable. The stemware was completely lovely (these is nothing worse than a superior cocktail in a poorly selected glass - this completely ruins the cocktail). The ambiance in the bar was simply elegant and beautiful. Every detail in the food, cocktails and service left nothing where improvements could have been made. We had the boozy Gaspari Manhattan, Lilibet Cocktail, Rumrunner Old Fashioned, Classic Champage Cocktail, and an Italian wine to go with filet in the peppercorn and brandy sauce. Later, there was a lovely singer and pianist. Simply extraordinary and lovely. Her voice was angelic and the pianist tied the experience together in a neat bow. I would like to call attention to the manager, Mickael Perron, who also checked on us in the most kind and attentive manner. Paul - in the coat room, was also very kind, warm, and attentive - a most generous person with a sincere and kind heart. For those of you who enjoy a truly remarkable experience which caters to all of your senses, then look no further as this is the place to go.

Easy to find, quality staff, a credit to the hotel/grill, lovely ambiance in the restaurant with attentative staff. Food was unusual for our tast on our set menu, but tasty and well presented, I have a new love for the bread loaf/butter/on gold linseeds, yummy, the main course was a sizeable piece of chicken but could have done with addition of maybe 3 strands of asparagus to compliment it.....the dessert was nice but could have done with more ice cream or double cream...originally we sat on a sofa to eat but i found this too low and uncomfortable so i moved to the other side of the table to a dining chair. It was definately a dining experiance and the team deserve their reputation.

What can I say about this hotel? From the start of our stay till the end, me and my family were impressed by the service of the staff of the hotel. Not only that, we felt that it wasn't just a normal hotel stay,it was more like a stay with members of the family. Not once did we felt out of place and we are so grateful for that. Many established hotels that we stay have good service but the feeling that we get,we are merely just customers. The Lanesborough Hotel is different,I cannot describe it and I really recommend this hotel. My daughter loves the room and she really enjoyed the Spa. Thank you for pampering her with the Lilibet soft toy! She now brings it everywhere! This hotel was a highlight and has certainly spoiled us. We cannot wait to come back!

We went for afternoon tea oh what an experience all I can say is amazing the staff so friendly excellent service Micheal and Maria were so wonderful it was so overwhelming and beautiful. The food was to die for and tea was amazing champagne fantastic whole experience well worth it would recommend and definitely go again even got a tour of different rooms of the hotel it is stunning
