鳳凰旅舍(The Phoenix Hostel)

Das Hostel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Tube-Station Edgware-Road.Das Hostel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und unsere Bettbezüge waren stark verdreckt (Schimmelflecken und andere undefinierbare Flecken), auf Nachfrage wurden diese jedoch gewechselt. Die Sanitäten Einrichtungen bräuchten ebenfalls eine Sanierung. Das Personal ist nett.

Angel and Zu very friendly reception. Dormitory bed comfortable and clean sheets and pillow case. Clean toilet. Didn't have time to use the shower as only stayed 1 night 30 December 2023. Premium price paid higher than usual as same with all hostels for New Year. Place is very small and requires some renovation.

Hostel very friendly and excellent for a short time stay. Zu and Angel are very friendly and helpful staff, you feel very welcome and the atmosphere is very relaxed, highly recommend 👌. Location is very convenient and safe

The pheonix has been an amazing experience staff are warm and friendly thr atmosphere feels like a homely vibe and I've had a great time staying here zu Ben and ion are fantastic staff. The area is also safe.

The hostel in itself could do with some maintenance especially renovation. Is a very old hostel that could use a bit of paint and a bit of care put into it too. . The toilets were pretty clean except the floor. Also in the rooms of 6 there were a lot of condensation which I think needs to be fixed ASAP. Also it would be ideal if there were more toilets and the rooms were a bit bigger. We are extremely grateful to Jordi one of the staff members. Which was extremely helpful and made my mum’s first experience in the hostel much better. That guy does a lot of work ! He defo needs a pay rise! And the hostel needs to be renovated.

Okay listen. The hotel looks like garbage, and it’s kids running the reception, that might be the reason. I came in to check in through the night, and I happened to have made a booking mistake from home, and forgot to book for that day. All good, not there fault. I ask them if they have any rooms, he tells me no, which is fine as well, I ask the the little curly haired boy if I can sit down for wifi for minute, and he just basically opens the door and throws me out, even tho he knows I have bought 2 nights the day earlier. *** kind of customer service is this?? He was sitting with some other kids in the couch and doing nothing. I rather sleep with Steve the homeless in front of MacDonalds than spending one more freaking night there. Disgusting place. Btw the bed sheets where dirty, and the toilets looked like a festivals toilet. There was mold in the bathrooms, and hallway.

manager was very helpful!greatnlocation about 5 min fromEdgware road tube station and traditional english pub below were I would recommend to take a couple beers! the price is good and definetely wirth to stay if you are looking a nice clean place for a good price.

if it was not for the bubbly lady Zuhura , I doubt people would even visit :D the beds was comfortable , only wish we could have sockets near by beds to charge our gadgets. tea should be also free ;)

The vibe of the hostel is very friendly and laid back. Cosy hostel in a good spot near museumsand gardens. Mike was great, very helpful and friendly. Close to the tube. Would stay again and recommend. Thank you.
