蒙塔古花園飯店(The Montague on the Gardens)

Zeer vriendelijk, correct en behulpzaam personeel! Goed gelegen. De kamer was verouderd ,extreem klein en het bed idem, wel top matras. Ook gehorig boven onze kamer. Kamer was voor 1 persoon vermoed ik. Make-up spiegel was stuk, geen handdouche. Ontbijt eenvoudig en rommelig voor een 4 sterrenhotel.

From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a lovely "feel" to it and its' age gives it a certain gravitas. Beds extrmely comfortable, linen crisp and clean, and plenty of space in even the basic double room. Easy walking distance into town and the theatres - and close to Russell Square tube for easy access further afield. We returned late on Friday evening, following a show and dinner, to be greeted in the bar by a lovely group of staff - all of whom worked hard to please. We had a brilliant short break and have now found ourselves a new base in London for future trips.

We had an incredible stay at The Montague on the Garden! Very friendly and helpful staff, the most comfortable bed I have had at a hotel, and they provided free chocolate hot chocolate and coffee. I would highly recommend! I felt like a queen staying here.

We stayed here in December 2022, and loved it so much we came back! The concierge staff here cannot do enough for you - Mustafa has wonderful recommendations and sent us to the interesting Foundling Museum and Dennis Severs' House; Levente also helped us plan our trips and both are a wealth of information. We had 2 early day trips and the staff was so accommodating and had breakfast ready for us at 6 a.m.! Overall, wonderful place to stay, great central and quiet location. The only place to stay in London!

This is a nice hotel, with the pluses and minuses of an older house made over into a hotel. All the comforts are there, but they are not uniformly comfortable. It is an easy place to like, but for the price it ought to be a tick better. The staff and the service are excellent.

The hotel wifi coverage was appalling on floors other than the ground floor and was very slow on the ground floor. The room layouts are a little cramped, especially in relation to access to the bathroom (single file only). Overall the stay was pleasant, principally engendered by the hotel staff, who were courteous and helpful.
