For 30 years I traveled for business and pleasure and have stayed in hundreds of hotels, this was one of the worst I have experienced. The hotel is very dated, the carpets are worn and the rooms are in need of attention, our bathroom door would not even latch. There is no housekeeping service unless you request it and even when you do it doesn’t happen. Understanding that everyone is experiencing staff shortages we made our beds, secured needed towels, and set out our trash cans for pickup. The second morning I asked the desk to have our room serviced, then we left for the day. When we returned around 7 PM. we found the room had not been touched so we had to return to the desk to replenish our towels and empty our trash cans. Additionally on the second morning we rode the elevator down from the 2nd floor to the pitiful continental breakfast, but were unable to go back up because it was malfunctioning. When we returned that evening we found it still out of order and the desk clerk admitted it had been a problem for a week but had not called a repairman. He said that last weekend the wi-fi was down. Climbing stairs might not seem a problem for most, but I am having knee replacement surgery a week later. If you choose this hotel know that are taking your chances .
