We were very disappointed with the stay in Thame because the hotel had been allowed to overbook and when we arrived tired at 11pm we were told we couldn’t be accommodated despite our booking and we would have to go to Aylesbury, which took another 40 minutes, with extra fuel etc. The first night had been booked separately to the second night. We went back to Thame for the second night and they wanted to charge us £10 for checking in early, we didn’t think that was fair, and they had to ring head office to get this waivered. If we had stayed at Thame as we should have done then we would have been there already.

My recent stay was a disaster. Our room was filthy: unvacuumed floors, stained walls, and dirty skirting boards. The bed was worse – stained sheets and dead bugs underneath. The bathroom screamed neglect with black mold, grimy taps, and a stained toilet. The proximity of their Support Office makes this neglect even more shocking. I've demanded a full refund. If this is their standard it's clear why the brand is failing. If you need to stay in the area go to Premier Inn Aylesbury hotel, it's a bit dated but at least the hotel is clean! Seriously, don't stay here – it's a total letdown!

Checked into room 13, room pleasant but had a horrendous damp smell, complained to Jodie who came to investigate who apparently couldn’t smell anything at all, googled reviews to find only 4 days previous the same issue was highlighted to Jodie, so they are fully aware but choose to ignore, anyway after speaking to a manager we were moved to another room which was pleasant and didn’t smell.

Key cards needed replacing on Day 2 of stay. Overall stay GOOD with a few ******* but sorted out by staff when mentioned

Location is reasonably good, certainly helped us out. Room was spacious and clean but over 4 nights the bedding was never changed. Bed wasn't the biggest or most comfortable. Bathroom could do with an extractor fan. The biggest drawback to the hotel is the poor facilities surrounding it. Burger King isn't open for Breakfast. The garage across from the hotel hosts a Subway and a Greggs. Greggs wasn't open for 2 days of our visit and the portions provided at the Subway were poor. Overall service at the garage, Subway and Greggs is awful. The hotel really needs improved Breakfast and Dinner options.

I use travelodge when visiting family and for business, stayed here for a family visit, no issues, clean room, pleasant staff, I only sleep there, everything was no less than I would get in a dearer room in another hotel chain, the difference in the price can be spent elsewhere 😊👍

I recently stayed in this travel lodge with my children who has physical disabilities as well as autism, the staff helped me more than was expected and was so understanding. They went out of their way to make sure not only myself but the children was comfortable and helped with all requests as best they could. I left feeling relaxed and well rested. Can’t thank them enough for making our stay such a pleasant one, we will definitely be returning. 5⭐️ x

Stayed here from November to February, due to our house catching on fire, upon arriving was lovely and clean, went downhill and the basics of service was not met. Most of the staff was lovely and very helpful, all in all very my experience was not good at the end

Stayed here overnight with a friend, basic room, no glasses and enough coffee etc for one cup each. Had to hold the bathroom tap when turning it on as it span around and had to be vertically challenged to use the bath. Could do with another pillow in room as one on each bed and only one spare. Was suitable for the price but i wouldn't want to spend any length of time there. Do not buy the breakfast box, its a waste of money.go to the services instead.
