特拉弗斯城萬楓酒店(Fairfield Inn & Suites Traverse City)

This is a beautifully appointed hotel, with comfy beds. I was especially impressed with the soft bathroom tissue, unlike the usual thin, scratchy stuff. I was disappointed that there was no lotion in the room. And the signage at the road is hard to see.

Convenient, quiet and nice. Great staff! A group from all over the country met and stayed for a weekend. Perfect place.

Good for just a place to test and they are friendly but not a lot of bells and whistles

Chose this hotel based on location, amenities and overall value. This is definitely an older hotel, as they are opening a new location about a mile north, next to the Tru hotel. Signage is a little hard to see from the road, it's right next to the Sam's Club lot and behind Cracker Barrel. Check-in is normally at 3 pm, but I called 2 hours prior and they not only accommodated that request, but asked if I had a floor preference, which I requested west facing (rear of the building, facing west and the woods) as opposed to the parking lot. Stayed on Friday-Monday. Room 305. I would say it was good on cleanliness. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Had an issue with a loud guest directly next to us, but they took care of it within a timely fashion. The breakfast area was clean and had a decent selection, not bad for an all-inclusive breakfast. The pool was smaller than most hotel pools, but not a big deal. The hot tub was available for use, but all the jets were not working, so it was hard to get the full effect. I didn't get to use the workout room, but that is available on the third floor as well. I like how they offer coffee throughout the day for guests and fresh water in the lobby. The worst part of this hotel was the lack of comfort from the beds, especially the pillows. Woke up with a stiff neck a few nights, but they did at least give a few extra pillows, although it didn't really help.

Mostly Satisfied but not impressed! 20 m after check in a women worker enter the room with a master key, apparently not knowing the room was rented. There was a dirty wash cloth hanging in the shower as well. The noise level of the upstairs folks walking and room doors closing loudly was more than most hotels. As well as the neighbors tv could be heard all nite long. I travel for business and have back issues so went to use hot tub only to find the jets don’t work. So it’s a public bath. My summary is the cost to stay here in combo with being kept up all night was not worth it. Breakfast was prepackaged items, with no fresh fruit available so coffee was the only amenity I enjoyed unfortunately.

Hotel was well kept, looked amazing and easy to check into

POSITIVES: Quiet location. Pleasant, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. NEG: Mold smell from ac unit. Hwy sign was unlit at night making turnoff from busy highway dicey. Long driveway unlit and surface in poor condition. Mold and lack of lighting reported to reception.

My air conditioner was a bit musty but I was able to open the window, which I loved. The room was immaculate and the bedding was premium quality. The breakfast was also one of the best I’ve had (and I have had many).

Staff were very pleasant and offered me my choice of floors. Because of an injury, I preferred the first floor and it had great access to the parking lot. Despite this, it was very quiet. The room was extremely clean and temp was easy to regulate. Bed super comfy and everything worked properly in the room. Only downside was the hot tub. It worked in terms of temperature but no jets due to repair. We at least got to soak. Breakfast was OK, basic spread with microwave egg sandwiches and quiches. Overall very pleasant stay.
