I arrived after 5 pm in the dark and rain. I parked on the main road and went to the B and B. The cafe was closed and so the doors were locked. There were instructions to ring the owner and he came down to let me in and show me to my room. There was a For Sale sign up so I imagine the owner wants to retire. I had booked the Burgandy Room with a Four Poster but got the Black and White Room. It was a good sized room with a very large double and a single. Good bathroom and towels plus a pack of toiletries. TV, large free standing fan with remote, dressing gown and slippers in a wardrobe. Slight niggles: no cups so I couldn't use the tea/coffee. I could have asked of course. Various items of ladies clothing in a bedside drawer. A bulb had gone in a bedside light and the other wasn't plugged in. I prefer brighter bedside lights so I can read. The LED lights in the bathroom mirror didn't work. Lastly there were no instructions on how to connect to the WiFi. I had the keys to the front door so I could come and go. I had a good night's sleep. The next morning I came down to an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Plenty of options. The owner was very pleasant and the stay was excellent value for money.
