朗維尤浩楓温德姆公寓(Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Longview)

The hotel was being renovated, so everything was a mess downstairs. There was no coffee pot or hair dryer in the room. I have honestly never stayed anywhere that there was not a hair dryer! My biggest issue with this place is that I was told that my $100 deposit would be refunded back to my credit card within 5-7 business days and I'm on day 23 with no refund.

Upon arrival, we walked into the lobby and 1st floor in total chaos. Renovations were being done and it was a complete mess with loud music and construction noise. At the check-in desk, we were then told about the construction and that no breakfast was available which was the main reason we booked this hotel. They have known this since February 25th, according to a posted notice at the front desk, however, we were not informed prior to check-in. We were then told there was a $100 deposit required, even though the posted notice at the desk said $50. At this point I decided against staying and just asked for a refund. I was then told, since I had booked through a third party site, the hotel couldn’t issue a refund and that I would have to petition the site that I had booked through. Knowing doing so would probably be a dead end we decided to take a look at the room and if it was clean to just stay. The first room we looked at was clean, but had an awful noise roaring in the bathroom. So, I asked for a different room. It, also, was clean, but that was the absolute ONLY thing it had going for it. After getting into the room one by one, as the need arose for the amenities advertised, we discovered they were nonexistent: no functional wifi, no coffee maker, no blow dryer in the bathroom, no hangers in the closet, thermostat for the A/C not functioning properly. At this point we were exhausted, so we just went to bed and slept horribly since we had to get up and down all night to adjust the A/C. Each and every time we called the front desk to ask for yet another missing amenity we were given the same excuse of “due to renovations and new ownership we are currently without” said amenity. I am very angry with myself for not just walking away in the beginning even if we were to never get our money back. We chose this hotel because of the Wyndham reputation. The change in ownership previously referenced was from Wyndham to Hilton. Both have an excellent reputation, however in this instance BOTH failed to meet the standards by which they operate.

I absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly and courteous, I had a chance to meet the mangaer Keisha, she made me feel very welcomed and thanked me for staying... I most definitely will be staying there again.

Ever in Longview, and you need a place to stay for work or leisure this is your place rather short or long stay! Front desk staff from the time of arrival until my checkout, each shift was awesome! Thanks!

The staff is top notch Great location, close to the mall and other shopping. The brealfast was good.The rooma are spacious and clean. The hotel is about to go through big changes, can't wait to visit again.!

If I could give a zero I would. Husband and my 11 year old son waited over 3 hours to get into a room. The front desk kept insisting the key worked. They propped open the door because the mechanism for the key was not working. They refused to give a refund even though they are sold out. They then said the key was working when they went. Little do they know, there was a tournament going on and many of the participants witnessed the fiasco. After driving almost 10 hours , they had to get a new room.

The carpet was ripped. The wooden arm of the chair was chewed down to the wood so much that it had lost its shape. We had to go to the front desk to get a tv remote and wastebasket. The breakfast was a joke. We got there at 6:10. The fried eggs were cold. The bacon was good. They had bread for toast and bagels, but no butter, jelly or cream cheese. They only had peanut butter. You could make your own waffles. But they didn't have syrup. The refrigerator had milk for cereal and yogurt. The yogurt was out of date. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only positive is that the staff was nice.

The front desk clerk was friendly upon arrival, but the hotel is in serious need of a deep clean and scrubbing. The hallway leading to the room smelled bad. The room smelled even worse, like someone had been smoking in it for weeks. Everything in the room is a cream color so it looks old and dingy. The carpet had stains and something sticky all over it. The bed was clean, but very hard. The AC thermostat was about to give out. The room did get cold. The hot water pressure was almost nonexistent. The exterior side door of the building did not lock. Anyone from the street could’ve walked in and been directly in front of the elevator. There is so much work that needs to take place to get this hotel suitable for guests.

Gross. The staff is friendly, but the manager not so much. Better hope you do not need help with something because she will have the staff lie to you about her being busy and not call back for days. Not worth $80 to stay there. They need serious maintenance and upgrades.
