Overall, the stay was okay. Likely won’t go back. The rooms themselves are nice enough, but there’s major construction on the far side of the building so you may end up with noise the early in the morning from it. The doorbells on the rooms are very annoying when you have neighboring rooms ringing each in at all hours of the night. So between that and the construction, there wasn’t much quiet. The WiFi was unusable and I couldn’t keep a connection long enough to do anything from so had to use my phone hotspot instead.

The Montrose is an excellent place to stay in West Hollywood. The staff is very kind and helpful and the rooms are clean and spacious. It’s close to Sunset ***** and restaurants. The property is nestled in a residential area which is very quiet and safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again.

Amazing staff, from the breakfast staff to the valets. Incredibly warm and accommodating. Nice to have a large room, with big sofa and fireplace. Watch the step down into the living room - we didn't have a problem, but could be a hazard in the dark (perhaps a safety light or glo in the dark tape)? Vinyl downstairs is a nice touch (records skip so should probably be updated but still a fun touch). Hill up to Sunset is tougher to walk than it looks (but hobnobbing at the infamous Rainbow is worth it), but super easy to get Ubers in this neighborhood. Everything is close by.

We had an amazing stay. Staff at the check in (Maria) made our stay special! We celebrated our anniversary and my son's bday and she was so amazing to send us a fruit and cheese platter with Champagne and gave my teenage son a whole bunch of snacks to choose from the snack bar. The beds were so comfy and the roof top pool bar was so neat. I would definitely come back to visit.

Service, Room condition and interior was top of the list. Very friendly staff at the front desk and at the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast is incredible and the selection is huge and with a very high standard. Great location and very convenient for me as a business traveler. I’ll be back.

Staff were very responsive and friendly. Pool was small and crowded so not necessarily kid friendly. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel during the day so this wasn’t a huge issue. Hotel is old but convenient to all the areas of the Hollywood hills and Beverly Hills. Valet parking is convenient as you have your car within seconds typically. Otherwise, plenty if Uber and Lyft options are there in minutes.
