Overall great hotel

My family chose this hotel from previous experiences. But this last time we were not happy the pool and the gym were out of order. The website did not say it was out of service. We had kids upon arrival and our family looked forward to the pool and was told at arrival pool was out of service. Something like this should have been posted online.

Checked in. Went to room, key didn’t work. Went to desk got another, key didn’t work. The room had no tv, which they didn’t know. Got a new room. Fireplace didn’t work. Jacuzzi light didn’t work. The biggest thing, the thermostat did not work.

Room excellent space for the money. Shocked at check-in to find $25 pet fee after years of pets stay free. This didn't jump out on computer info when i reserved room. Please be sure all your sites reflect this. I used ******* and the first reviewer remarked on pet staying at no cost.

Not so good. Old towels, elevator is a mile away. Very old and worn out place. They don’t even give you a bottle of water like most other places. You can pay $3 for a Costco size water bottle though!

The good: Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was nice. The not so good: The ac in the room was so loud we couldn't leave it on because we wouldn't have been able to sleep. Also i have stayed in a lot of hotels and i have never been able to hear someone coughing and sneezing in the room next to us, the walls must be crazy thin. My husband and i don't have the best hearing either so.... and the breakfast was mediocre.

The shampoo, lotion, conditioner bottles are so small that there isn’t even enough for one person to use. They each contained less than a half teaspoon of product. There was only 1 small bar soap, but the sink and shower area were in 2 separate rooms.
