Cuckoos Nest is an excellent place to experience the rich cultural heritage and unspoiled nature in Northern Limpopo. Apart from the excellent services you offer, the welcoming staff and the amazing gardens around the guesthouse, we like that you offer Culture, Arts, Crafts and Lifestyle tours to visit the artists and crafters in the villages around Elim. We did not experience ourself, but it seems us that also your Birding tour with Samson Mulaudzi is a special experience.

Despite arriving late in the evening and departing early the next morning, we could see this is a delightful and well managed guesthouse. Our family room was spacious and comfortable and had all the amenities needed for our short stay...next time, we'd love to stay longer!

It was great. From stopping at the place and getting greeted by a friendly welcomer till I left. Room was clean and everything was working. The breakfast was excellently prepared as well. The views from the guest house were also amazing. Would definitely make use of it again in the future and would advise anyone to make use of it when they need a place to stay when in Louis Trichardt.

Quiet and peaceful time! Felt like at grandma’s house. Fresh cooking, honesty bar, clean and organised. Very friendly staff and the owners always available. Fair price and fantastic opportunity to reconnect and unwind. Definitely would recommend it! Want to return.

Situated in a fantastically beautiful garden. The owner of this guesthouse offered a warm welcome in Dutch. The host provided is helpful insider tips for our trip to Kruger National Park and our first day there. We appraciated them a lot. Beautiful, spacious rooms equipped with everything you need. A very comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Your car is secured parked. Delicious coffee (freshly ground from a great machine). Breakfast was excellent, and the diner was above expetatian. What a great cook. Recommended to stay here 100%.

The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, with beautiful gardens making my stay truly enjoyable. What stood out the most was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. A warm welcome by the host Mark and his wife. They made me feel at home and within 5 minutes of my arrival, they showed me around which made me feel like i've been to the place before. The food was so delicious and all thanks to the wonderful Mpho and her team. I wont hesitate coming back for another stay.

I only visited Cuckoo’s nest for 1 night recently but wish I could have stayed longer. Very nice rooms delicious food and excellent hospitality. Very friendly folks. Beautiful garden on the property swimming pool airconditioning everything you need as well as spacious rooms. Really enjoyed my stay and highly recommended. A great birding destination.
