芬斯敦城堡酒店(Finnstown Castle Hotel)

I stayed at the hotel with family during a short break to Ireland. I found the staff friendly and the hotel clean, comfortable, and good value for money. The only issue we had was on the day of checkout. I contacted the manager Barry regarding this issue and he replied by saying he would investigate and respond within a week. Unfortunately, this was now two months ago and I have tried to contact the hotel since without success. This has now marred the experience and my opinion of the hotel as it has left me feeling like guests' concerns are not taken seriously.

There is no words that I can say ,my cousin was 82 last sunday and we went for afternoon Tea there was 5 of us , A English lady served us ( sorry I dont remember her name) she could not do more for us , she was so good to us .so much so I have recommended hotel to family and friends please god we will be back again thank you for Imaking her day Lorraine A

I met 3 of my friends for afternoon tea and we had a fantastic afternoon. The presentation of the room was beautiful and very comfortable and the staff were excellent and very attentive. The food was delicious and there was plenty and doggy bags were no problem. We had a lovely day, many thanks to the staff for the wonderful hospitality!

From the time we arrived for Afternoon Tea , Marina was wonderful, professional and courteous. My elderly mother and I arrived first and while waiting for my sister and her boys we were offered tea/ coffee. The array of sandwiches, cakes and scones with clotted cream and jam was lovely. My sister had a special O Birthday and Marina brought a muffin with a candle and sang Happy Birthday to her. The room was old world and beautiful with Queen Anne chairs and lovely views of the garden. We got endless cups of tea / coffee and no rush to leave or vacate table. Lovely linen tablecloths and napkins . Nice bathroom “Ritual“Toiletries. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Marina for adding a special touch to a special occasion.

We had a family meet up with several rooms , from the reception that book us in to the breakfast staff I never met a source lot , no welcome, bad form with a snap instead of a nice word . Glum faces ,with a bare grunt . The dinner was only served in the bar on coffee tables with your knees in way . The waiter was busy giving out about people so we skipped cancelled dinner and went out. The room was very worn and cold , the bed was lumped and the lift mined all the night with the next door speaking on the phone we could hear his chat. The breakfast was very poor selection and horrible cheep bread and the cooked foods on same boxes as meat and veggies foods. One got hash browns that had long hair in it . The receptionist we checked out with Lauren was lovely and helpful.

On Sept 3rd myself & my family enjoyed a truly lovely afternoon with dinner in the Peacock Restaurant Our group consisted of 9 children, age range 6 to 12, and 8 adults we had a beautiful room to ourselves, picture windows looking out to the gardens, the food was delicious & the service was amazing, first class. Our server was really great with the children, was in tune with their likes & dislikes suggesting alternative dishes for the picky eaters which meant parents could relax & enjoy their meal unhassled. Adults were also well looked after...a wonderful day was had by all. Thank you Finnstown

Very impressive avenue and hotel front. Inside lives up to expectations, very grand entrance hall and front rooms. Bed rooms are nice and comfortable. Food served only in the bar and was good. The senior male waiter lacked any interpersonal skills or maybe just felt a little superior. Manager did little to make us feel welcome.

We celebrated our wedding here in July 2022 and had an amazing day from start to finish. The staff couldn't of been more helpful- especially Natasha, Jackie and Abdul. All of our family and friends commented on the fabulous food and atmosphere created. Thanks again for a fab day- Luke and Evelyn.

We had my sons wedding here on fri 5th of August .it was the most from start to finish .the weather was amazing they decided to have the ceremony outside .The food was absolutely beautiful as was the room .staff coudnt do enough and we stayed second day to relax.i would like to thank barry the manager for checking in to make sure we were looked after so well and to lovely lexie serving us in the bar thank you all so very much staff are q credit to the hotel .i would highly recommend this hotel for weddings qnd thankyou so much
