盧加諾聯邦酒店(Hotel Federale Lugano)

I visited Lugano mid April, along with a friend, and we stayed at the Hotel Federale for 4 nights, and loved every minute of it! The hotel is literally a 5/10 minute walk from the train station. Ours was a very comfortable superior room on the 5th floor, with an absolutely breathtaking view of the lake as well as the mountains and the church. We had it all! The breakfast is essentially European and well laid out. We had all our dinners at the San Lorenzo restaurant at the hotel, and they were all delicious. The staff at the Hotel Federale is very friendly and helpful. In particular, I’d like to call out Fernando at the restaurant. He’s the sweetest, most gentle person. In addition, Paolo Ongaro, Andrea Bonsari and Sergio Falciola at the Front Desk are always ready to help and very friendly. The Hotel Federale is a family run hotel, and that I’m my opinion makes all the difference. Thank you for making our visit to Lugano so very memorable. I’ll be definitely returning!

L’hôtel se situe à 2 pas de la gare mais reste très calme. Chambres très confortables. Petit déjeuner varié, avec des produits frais et faits maison. Pour le dîner, choix entre le menu ou à la carte. Dans tous les cas, excellente table. Dernier hôtel »de famille », c’est la garantie d’un vrai service raffiné sans être obséquieux.

We arrived in Lugano by train and the hotel is just across the road from the station, albeit many metres down the hill. No problem there are semi gentle ramps to the hotel front door. The staff at reception were jolly and helpful to say the least. Online check in streamlined the process and should be used at other hotels. This is a great innovation. Up the elevator and into the room. Spectacular room with amazing views of the town, lake and mountains from the balcony. A superb bed and air conditioning, blockout blinds nice bathroom made me wish I was staying longer. Not far back to the station for the Bernina express in the morning. Catch the funicular from the church next door or push your bags up the ramps if you are a bit fit. My only wish is there was the option of a plain sheet instead of the Swiss dogonas available on the beds in summer. This would be a greener option on hot nights.

離盧加諾車站很近，而且到酒店有一個斜坡，所以即使帶著行李箱也很容易到達那裡。從飯店到車站有纜車，爬山沒問題。飯店工作人員非常熱情，會說日文的店家在我退房時還給了我一份糖果當紀念品。

Abbiamo soggiornato perfettamente nel vostro hotel. Dopo aver perso il treno, fare la conoscenza di Giuseppe è stata la cosa più bella che poteva capitarci! È stato gentilissimo, premuroso e professionale. Torneremo sicuramente, magari la prossima volta per fare un weekend più rilassante!

La gentilezza, dello staff, reception,ristorante e business center sono all' altezza delle aspettative.Ti senti sempre a casa. A volte il taglio più piccolo della sala riunioni è un po' sacrificato , ma la gentilezza dello staff colma qualsiasi limite

As other reviewers noted... even four years ago, the rooms and bathrooms are really dated, at least the one we got. That said, it was incredibly clean and comfortable but just be prepared for a very old hotel. Dinner was good and breakfast was fine. There are some great views from the balcony if your room has one. Service was very good.

Top Lage mit Aussicht. Freundliches Personal. Leider hatten wir mit Warmwasser im 5. Stock etwas Probleme. Speisesaal ziemlich kahl und steril.
