Sehr schönes, typisch englisches Landhaus mit herrlichem Garten. Wir waren zu zweit, hatten ein großes, makellos sauberes Zimmer mit viel Charme. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet – klassisch britisch, liebevoll zubereitet. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig, perfekt zum Abschalten. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein Ort mit Seele. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die das Besondere suchen.

Lovely location away from the madding crowds, but so near to many attractions and beautiful areas of Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire. Warm, friendly and of good standards as well as being totally unpretentious. Having now known Plumber Manor for many years I continue to enjoy it's comforts and their faultless and consistent high standards of food.

We have just had an excellent 2 night stay here. We loved it. Our room was comfortable, not luxurious, and WiFi/phone signal was not good, however the atmosphere, friendliness & food more than made up for this. It clearly was a family home that was loved. I think most of the other guests were regulars and we would like to return too. It was a step back in time, but in a very good way. Expect a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel

We came back to Plumber Manor for a long weekend to see some nearby sights and enjoy the wonderful cuisine in this superb venue. We have been a few times and so it is a favourite place to recuperate and forget about work. We love having a pre-dinner drink at the bar where there is a lit fire in the winter, a friendly atmosphere and time to choose from the menu and to talk to Richard, the owner. The food is delicious and cooked to requirements. The wine list is comprehensive and all of excellent quality. We have played tennis on their own court too and strolled around the gorgeous grounds with rich planting and flowers.

Excellent and friendly family run rural hotel. Clean and tidy. Delicious food. A great stay overall. We stayed with a big team - 8 rooms and had dinner in a private room which was good fun.

We had an excellent dinner here on a Saturday evening in late October. The atmosphere was buzzy and convivial, the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and well priced. Thoroughly recommend.
