Boutique-like vibe, very clean room, with a comfortable bed. The rooms are quiet and are nicely appointed. The staff members are friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed in other area hotels, including other ones downtown. The Virginian remains our favorite.

Amazing staff, they went out of their way to be friendly and helpful…especially the valet service. Those guys were unbelievable! Gave lots of great suggestions about things to do. Room was stunning and very comfortable. The hotel is at the heart of downtown so everything is extremely walkable for sightseeing!

This was one of if not the cleanest and most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. Downtown historic Lynchburg and The Virginian is amazingly beautiful! The staff consistently provides answers to all questions, the valet service was impeccable and every person we can into contact with was extreme kind and courteous!

that the Acedemy Theater and resturants and the museum were in walking distance . I didnt like that the roof top was only if you wanted to have dinner we had just stopped and eaten our dinner before we arrived at the hotel , so didnt need dinner or drinks at that time. the resurant was closed by the time we got out of the theater would have been nice able to have just sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather and take in the city view.

We love the Virginian and make a point to stay there when passing thru Virginia. We’ve stayed there 4 times, and it never disappoints. It is even a notch above some of the other Hilton Curio Collection Hotels. It’s clean, updated, rooms are large, staff is friendly and on point. The rooftop Skyline restaurant is a nice feature too. And we find the room rates reasonable too. Great find!

This is a 5 star property with a 4 star rating only because the restaurant wouldn’t serve us after being told by front desk that they would. Petty to ding, but reflects how the restaurant host treated us. Otherwise, awesome property: spacious, luxurious rooms. Great night’s sleep.

Friendly staff, great service and amenities! We arrived early and were able to drop our bags in their check room, and get parking arranged before our room was ready. We called and they let us m own they could check us in when the room was cleaned, so we returned and all went smoothly. Beautiful room, and so convenient to have the rooftop restaurant and breakfast/brunch in the lobby. The little store directly across the street was great, and the valets always friendly. They brought a luggage cart up to us for check out. The security was excellent, using our room key for the levator made us feel safe. We were able to walk the entire downtown, check out the shops and restaurants and still be close to hotel for a break. Highly recommend!

3 out of 5 stars. The beds were comfortable and the linen was plush! However, the room was very dark and had limited natural light. The light switch for the bathroom panel was cracked and missing a piece. The toilet paper holder was not securely attached to the wall and would fall over dumping the paper on the floor. attention to detail was lacking.

Stayed in Lynchburg for a couple of days, hotel was very elegant and classy! Very clean and well-decorated. Our room was spacious and felt very luxurious! Enjoyed dinner at the Skyline Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. Connor, the valet was very friendly and personable, my husband enjoyed talking with him and his outstanding service. Would recommend The Virginian Hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing stay and plant to visit again in the future.

Will be traveling for business to this location a bit more frequently and I will stay at the Virginian without question.

The Curio is a fabulous facility. From the valet upon arriving to every person that worked there was great. They definitely have a southern charm and warmth to them and the facility is beautiful. Everything is meticulously decorated, clean and maintained. Our room was very spacious and finely appointed with one of the nicest shower and separate soaking tub that we have encountered. I'm not a Starbucks fan, wife is, but they had an omelette station and the best breakfast biscuit I have had, delicious. Also, the restaurant on the top of the building, that has great views, had fabulous food. I don't get burgers very often but it was delicious and my wife's Ahi tuna was extremely well prepared and spiced. I couldn't recommend this facility any higher, it was a great experience. Will absolutely return.

Nice hotel. Room clean . Bed comfortable. House keeping did good job. A pleasant reception on check in. The valet parking guys were good. Helped what information about the area. William and Henry was excellent restaurant for Dinner. Room 521 view was blocked by a brick wall. I would stay at this hotel again.

Was going to park on street, was told that we could use the hotel parking lot for free for one night. Next day a charge was on my c/c. Told by front desk there is a charge, then taxes etc and that ******* also got a cut. Told that we were told free and she said all check in people know there is a charge. Would not remove.
