I stayed at the Budget Inn for a few nights. I saw that this motel was practically empty which was not an occurrence that I had ever encountered before in all of my travels. Most revoltingly, in my opinion, was the fact that the shower did not drain for hours after it was used. I saw how our filthy shower had what I observed to be a few inches of sludge and slime all around the shower’s base. Upon our effort to complain to Robert, the manager, Robert indicated to us that people may wash their dogs in the shower. In my opinion, it is disgusting how people would wash their dogs in these showers. Also, I would personally believe that any diligent housekeeper would have easily found this severe clog if the shower had been cleaned prior to our stay. Although TripAdvisor lists that this motel serves a free breakfast, Robert said to us that there was absolutely no continental breakfast served due to the coronavirus pandemic. In my opinion, our room was absolutely worn and poorly maintained.
