Rodeway Inn & Suites Mackinaw City – Bridgeview

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was provided. Price was good! Conveniently located near the Shipler Ferry Company. Kept my room for me despite a very late arrival. Even called to Check on me.

Well, I got 8000 points left on my choice account so I used to hear come up by the bridge and my wife will not stay in a roadway Inn because we have had bad experiences before at them. I am pretty easy to please myself so I came up to play some golf up north and see the foliage Played at grandview and kalkaska yesterday. Just an awesome experience and today I look forward to playing down at Black Lake Anyway back to the Rodeway Inn in Mackinaw city. Very easy check-in booked it about 10 minutes before I got there. I got a two bedroom, one room with a king and the other with a Double two TVs, and really I mean come on at this time of the year on October 10 it was $93 retail but I didn’t have to pay it off with my choice points. It’s only 8000 points here which is low and a great deal so anyway really no complaints. The pool is a separate building. I did not use that. It looks like it’s 8 foot deep maybe 20 foot long oh my do not see any hot tub one real negative is the parking to get in here you have to make a real sharp turn then it’s very tight, it does have an elevator which is good other than that yeah this is a touristy trap town for sure so the price is right

There is no hot tub! There is a picture with a hot tub. Pictures make the place look much nicer than it is. Will stay elsewhere next time. Breakfast room is very small have to wait in line to make waffles only one person fits at a time.

The rooms were dated, however, it was extremely clean. I always use a flashlight and check the rooms to look for things that I don’t want to sleep with, and I always check behind the furniture. Behind the nightstand was so clean! no dust on any wires or on the baseboard. You could tell the place had been thoroughly cleaned. Beds were comfortable. It didn’t matter that the interior was dated. It did just fine for one night stay.

Check in Was smooth. I had some additional charges and the manager took his time to explain and said they would drop off. Breakfast; we both had upset stomachs. Chose to go elsewhere the other days. Rooms are small. Blow dryer did not work and the bathroom was a bit dirty and missing ceiling fan cover and light. Beds was comfortable. Overall for the price want to bad.

Pretty old place a bit dark but clean. I was disappointed that we had to wait for the breakfast. It was scheduled for 7am but at that time no staff were anywhere to be found. It delayed our departure by about an hour. The people manning the office seemed a little rough but I guess it’s what I’d expect for a low end place in a busy tourist area. Definitely wouldn’t swim in the pool - it also looked dirty.

We walked into our room, the first thing I see is a bed bug on the white pillow! I didn't stick around to find more. They did refund us with no problem. Let's see what happens when the credit card bill gets here!

Room was OK and looked maintained. My problems were it was noisy and people played loud music until late in the night. The breakfast was nothing but a packaged muffin and yogurt but the kicker was the sign that said you can only eat one and not to get two. Could be a nice place if the people who ran it had some people skills.

Stayed here for two nights with group. I was not in charge of our reservations as we were with a group. Outside appears decent- rooms old and just not clean enough for me. Carpet was stained and there were food particles on carpet when we arrived I did pack my own sheets- call me OCD- but I read the reviews prior to staying here. I also brought along Lysol and wipes. TV never worked- but we didn’t say anything because we were only in room short time. Clock didn’t work, shower was decent except for the mold around the shower head. Forget breakfast- just pre-packaged muffins. Walk over to Audie’s. Close restaurant with good food and excellent service. The location worked well for us. There is smoking (yuk) and dogs are allowed ( I very rarely) stay anywhere where pets are allowed. But during this weekend it was the most cost effective for our group. Best part -we were on ground level so very helpful with our group. I would DEFINITELY stay elsewhere.
