Such a lovely stay at this b&b! Peter was so kind and welcoming, made our stay very easy. Stayed in a lovely suite with a kitchen/lounge and bathroom. So spacious and very clean. Also the bathroom overlooked beautiful scenery and some beautiful cows. Peter also made us a lovely breakfast which definitely helped with our hangover from the wedding we went to the previous night! Thank you so much again.

Loved our stay at Mackworth house farm B&B would definitely stay again. The room was big very Clean and they couldn't do enough for us and BIG shout out to Peter was so nice welcoming and polite couldn't do enough for us. Don't hesitate stay here you will not be disappointed .

This is the third time we have stayed at Mackworth House Farm, and as always, it was the perfect stop-over. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, immediately making you feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the quiet surroundings contribute to a perfect night’s sleep, then a plentiful continental-style breakfast helps to set you up for the day!

Lovely stay at Mackworth House Farm. We stayed in emerald room which was lovely with great views. Were made to feel very welcome by Peter who was an excellent host. Would highly recommend and will stay again if in the area.

Just felt like home , I went for a break away from the city , beautiful scenery and plenty of places to visit. I will definitely stay longer next time. Peter and Al were so welcoming and the apartment we stayed in was just perfect for us, parking available which is always a bonus.

We arrived at the Farmhouse and it was in a delightful setting. We received from Peter a very warm welcome which went into a tour of his home. It was beautifully decorated and each room had a full bathroom next door. The fridge was stocked with water and milk for tea/coffee and a chest with a variety of drinks. The room was comforable and the bed was too. We had the best nights sleep for our 4 night stay and have booked for next year. Thank you Peter

The amber suite is one of the most comfortable & spacious places I have stayed in recent years. The bed is inviting, the lounge is cosy. The owners are polite & always happy to help. The morning views of the countryside make waking up here an absolute treat

Room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Exclusive use Bathroom was separate instead of ensuite. A little chilly in morning. Full aroma of nextdoor farmyard. Attentive and helpful Host. Sky TV available. Lovely views across farmland.

We loved staying here. Peter was the perfect host, very flexible with check-in and check-out. Always there for a nice chat or in case of any questions. We stayed in the Amber suite, which was wonderful. Great bed and fantastic shower. Location is good, close to Derby, but no noice from the road at all. Lovely surroundings and good restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend.

Last minute booking but what a find! Peter and Al went out of their way to make me welcome. The room was clean, spacious and the bed most comfortable. I had the best night’s sleep away from home. For me, this was ideal. So ideal that I will be booking again soon. Many thanks!

A basic but lovely rural setting accommodation. I liked the simple yet nice place which would serve the purpose if you are looking somewhere to live in the region. The venue we needed to go was only 5 Min walk. The host - Peter was very approachable and welcoming and an interesting person - a music lover. I highly recommend the place.

If as a business traveller you need a change from the hermetically sealed overnight stops, indistinguishable from one another, look no further. Pleasant host, perfectly adequate and just the right side of quirky. Oh, and ask about the train set

Great location just on the edge of the city, but lovely views across Derbyshire. Excellent service and friendly staff. Food and drink is of a very good standard, and lots of selection. Highly recommended for local and visitors to enjoy the Derbyshire delights.

The farmhouse is in a lovely, peaceful location which feels like it's in the middle of the countryside but is only 10 minutes from central Derby. The bedroom was warm, clean and comfy with everything we needed during our stay, and Peter is a lovely host too.
