The curtains in the room l stayed in had a lot of dust. (room 20) l caught a bad sore throat that night, and the view outside was terrible , a lot of rubbish had been thrown outside l think thru the window turnishing the view.

Place was not too bad could do with updating as is a bit tired looking. Shower head wouldn’t stay on the fitting. Staff friendly enough.

Really nice hotel

The was cold even with heaters on, the bathroom was wasn’t cleaned probably as well as the desk in the room.

I was delighted with the clean, comfortable and cool room after a long day on the road. I have stayed at this hotel before and will return in the future. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and even contain a fridge. They are set around a courtyard which acts as a car park and I have never had any problem with the parking. The building is one storey so you do not have to worry about noise from above. Each entrance serves only two rooms so there is very little “traffic” from other guests. Recommended. (For absolute clarity, my review is based on my room rate which was £62 per night. I note that the room rate fluctuates considerably and there are times when it is considerably more than this.) There are some interesting comments below. My perspective on the comments is as follows: a) The hotel is exactly like the picture of it that I saw. b) The hotel has never cancelled a booking that I have made (I am a repeat customer). c) There are clear notices in the room and in reception asking you to leave the key on the desk in the room when you check-out. I have always been told this on check-in, as well. d) It is possible to lock the door from the inside to prevent cleaners etc coming in without your permission. e) There are various establishments very close by if you need to buy a meal. Road signs say that the city centre is only 3 miles away.

A large, comfortable room at a competitive price. This is the third time I have stayed at this property, and I would happily return. The hotel used to be a Premier Inn so the rooms are very similar to standard Premier Inn rooms. They are situated around a courtyard and are all at one level so you have relatively few neighbours. There is plenty of car parking even though the car park is shared with a pub. Recommended
