Centrally located hotel but it doesn't have a lot of the amenities that one would associate with the price they are charging... There isn't enough parking space for your car, they don't have a restaurant, only breakfast buffet is served plus they won't even let you use that space to eat something you would have ordered from elsewhere. The rooms thought nicely built need a lot of maintenance, furniture and certain corners are damaged. The bathrooms definitely need better maintenance, there are cockroaches everywhere. There is no fridge in the room to store food either. This is place is like an expensive b&b.. Not worth it.

Our family had an amazing time at this hotel. It was a beautiful and serene place. The best part about our stay was the service. Everyone was so hospitable, especially Mr. Thanga Pandian Muthusamy. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He arranged a boxed lunch for our kids because our flight was during lunch time. He also made out daughter feel so special with giving her peacock feathers. We are glad we stayed at this hotel!

這個酒店我真是無語吐槽了，不是因為MARRIOTT滿房，這個又是最靠近的酒店， 我真是不會再住下去，酒店老舊就算了， 衛生也不好， 那個毛巾啊，臭的要死。 明明有雙牀房不給我， 非要打給攜程才給我， 本來就有時差， 凌晨2-3點都搞不好給我， 我本來預定是Club room 我都不知道我最後到底住了個什麼房型， 總之鐵定不是club room就對了

Avea is a modern style guesthouse. All facilities such as a hot shower, AC and WiFi worked well. The bed was comfortable. Towel and soap, toiletpaper all routinely provided. The accommodation is kept very clean. Drinking water and boiling water to make your own coffee or tea is included. Staff want to give good service to the guest. It is not a place where you just get a room for a certain time and that is it. The location is not directly in the city center, but in Anna Nagar which means you have to deal with rickshaw drivers. Staff will assist you. I walked up and down to town and the bus stations. Arappalayam bus stand (Munnar, Coimbatore destinations) is 6 km away. Mattuthavani bus station (Chennai destination) is at a distance of 3 km. Keep in mind Madurai city center is very congested (narrow streets with a lot of noise and exhaust fumes). Anna Nagar is where the city middle class lives. It is more quiet and restaurants are of better standards. Stayed four days.

Stayed at this place for a night. Location-wise it's ideal as it is away from the main chaos of madurai city but still near since its approx 3-4 km away from the city centre. The maintenance could have been better, as it lacked proper charging ports, table to keep things. The room that i got was just above their restaurant, hence during morning hours you will wake up hearing the sounds from hotel's kitchen. Just good enough if you are looking for a place just to crash at night.

Enjoyed staying overnight. Hotel staff is very courteous and caring. Bazaar restaurant serves excellent food and serving guys are excellent. Special mention of Yemti, she takes a lot of interest for guest comfort. Like to visit again. Big thank you to Team Hotel Grand Madurai GRT.

訪訪客One of the best Hotels I have ever visited till date.Extremely comfortable and luxurious rooms.complementary breakfast is delicious.Mr.David is reachable round the clock he helped us plan our tour.He helps you plan your day schedule according to the temple timings and has arranged transportation too.

MMargaryta_taNice hotel. In our colors Food: vegetarian line, with meat and desserts. Everything is beautiful and delicious. A little protein for breakfast for vegetarians. The restaurant is very nice. Rooms: beautiful, large. Very comfortable pillows. There is not much in the bathroom, but everything is enough. Difficulties: you need to fill up the Internet and wait a few minutes without touching the phone. Then it will boot and work fine. It knocks out if the phone is locked. But when you open the settings, it quickly returns without additional password input. Unfortunately, there was no time to find out more about the hotel and whether there is a pool. The elevators work according to the cards. The atmosphere is very suitable for business trips.

RRicardoI had an incredible stay at the Marriott hotel! The room was exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of travel. What truly stood out was the amazing staff—they were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable experience. I couldn't have asked for better hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel for a truly enjoyable stay!

訪訪客Seeing all the bad reviews i was a little worried when i came here, but honestly for me everything was fine. Bed sheets and towel seemed clean, toilet was clean, bathroom was fine. The fan was working and it was even pretty quiet at night. So i definitely didn't have the terrible experience that some reviews describe. Maybe they gave me one of the better rooms because i'm a foreigner, i don't know. Of course it's not a luxury hotel, it's simple, but i was satisfied with it.

訪訪客We needed a budget stay for a night (in transit) and MMR was recommended by a MAdurai colleague The hotel is off the main road, the access road is narrow and bumpy. The hotel itself was quite sufficient. HAs an Anjappar on premise. Breakfast is limited to S Indian fare - idli, pongal, vada... But was adequate for us. Parking is a separate plot near by. Enough and more food joints in the vicinity Net: A good choice for travellers who need a budget stay

訪訪客Ac temp regulation was not in order. Leaky and broken taps in bathroom. Water was provided after several hours of check in, after asking for it. There is no room service for even tea coffee. No rest t. Basically it is a cheap hotel and i suppose i can’t expect anything better. I will not come again ! i am willing to pay more but this place has no class at all. No better than cheap lodges near bus stand

Vvenkateshn2020We had booked a room at this Hotel for Aug 19th on the Hotel's website and had paid an advance of Rs.1000. We had an email confirmation received for our booking also. However, on arriving at the Hotel on 19th, we were informed that they cannot give us a room because of some ongoing event in Madurai. Not only that, till date, they have not refunded the booking advance despite emails and phone calls. However, I am grateful to one gentleman at the Hotel who was kind enough to point us to another alternate Hotel which had a room available where we could stay that night. If they had constraints for which they were canceling our reservation, they could have easily informed us on phone or email they won't be able to honour the reservation and should have returned the booking advance. Clearly, the Hotel does not think either one is necessary.
